Interview with Kotaro Yoshida and Rinya Nakamura after the recording!

--This commercial celebrates the first anniversary of Uma Musume.
Mr. Rinya Nakamura (Mr. Nakamura): (After thinking for a while) I don't have any. ...... The end of the year is my birthday, so I would like to celebrate it (laughs).

--(laughs): Your birthday was recently on January 14, wasn't it, Yoshida-san?
Kotaro Yoshida (Mr. Yoshida): Yes, that's right. They are put together, Christmas and New Year's, aren't they?

Mr. Nakamura: Yes, that's right. It's a mess. Huh? What's wrong? The siblings are separate. (The event I wanted to celebrate was) Koutaro-san's birthday.

--How about you, Mr. Yoshida?
Mr. Yoshida: I am sorry that we are talking about children, but I want to celebrate my child every day. Everything is new for her. Whenever I see her petting the dog or feeding herself, I want to have a drink with her.

Ms. Nakamura: To prepare for my role, I am doing muscle training for the first time in my life. At first I didn't like it, but gradually I feel better and more comfortable doing it. I hope I can continue to do so.

Ms. Yoshida: I started eating one meal a day. At first I was very hungry, but I gradually got used to it. My internal organs started to feel better. However, I have lost muscle mass, so I continued the diet for about a year and recently stopped it.

--Do you have anything that you are actually raising?
Mr. Nakamura: I have been keeping ancient fish for about 10 years. I recently added a new one and now I have about 4 fish, but the water plants grew too fast before the fish. They have become too tall and thin. They are taking more work than the fish. Also, I recently received a cactus. When they get big, I have to repot them, but I am afraid of cacti. They sting. So I tell them to grow slowly.

Mr. Yoshida: I am raising a human being. My daughter was born last March, so I am in the middle of raising her. She is now standing on her haunches and will soon be able to stand on her own. She is now able to say "mama" (literally, "as it is"). She can say "mama," but she can't say "pa-pa," and it makes my teeth itch (laughs).
