Completely new anime production of the entertainment novel "Wolf and Spice," which marks the 15th anniversary of the series, is to be produced! Teaser visual & PV commemorating the announcement!

Dengeki Bunko's "Wolf and Spice," which won the Gold Prize in the 12th Dengeki Novel Award and will mark the 15th anniversary of the series in 2021, has decided to produce a completely new anime.

The "Wolf and Spice" is an entertainment novel series that began publication in 2006 as the debut work of author Frozen Sand Shikura, and has now reached its 15th anniversary. A sequel, "Wolf and Spice Spring Log," and a spin-off series, "Shinsochi: Wolf and Spice, Wolf and Parchment," are also being published by Dengeki Bunko. The series has sold a total of 5 million copies and is highly popular not only in Japan but also overseas.

Dengeki Bunko will begin a 15th anniversary commemorative project in February 2021. The "Wolf and Spice & Frozen Sand" official website is being operated, and the illustrator of this work, Ju Bunkura, has drawn a commemorative illustration.

Also, congratulatory illustrations by illustrators who have a connection with the author, Shikura Tosuna, are available for viewing. Other events and goods have also been developed to commemorate the 15th anniversary.

As a finale to the 15th anniversary project, a completely new anime adaptation was announced.

Fan art by 17 illustrators & the history of 17 volumes looked back by Frozen Sand Shikura.

As the last project for the 15th anniversary, 17 popular illustrators have contributed newly drawn fan art.

The artist, Frozen Sand Shikura, has been posting his memories of the 17 volumes of Dengeki Bunko's "Wolf and Spice" on the official Twitter page.
The project will run for 17 days from February 9, 2022 (Wednesday), the last day of the 15th anniversary. On February 25 (Fri.), the last day of the 15th anniversary, the decision to produce a completely new "Wolf and Spice" anime was announced along with the 15th anniversary finale.

Seventeen illustrators participated in the project.

Born on December 27, 1982. Winner of the Silver Prize at the 12th Dengeki Novel Award.
He is the author of a number of popular series for Dengeki Bunko, including "Wolf and Spice," "Sleep in Magdalene," "WORLD END ECONOMiCA," and "Shin-setsu: Wolf and Spice," "Wolf and Parchment.

Ayakura Ju
Lives in Tokyo and works freelance. His representative works include illustrations for "Wolf and Spice," illustrations for "Ideal Pimp Life" (Hero Bunko), and character design for VOCALOID "Yukari Yuzuki.

Lawrence, a peddler, finds a girl sleeping in the back of his wagon, buried under a sheaf of wheat. She was a beautiful girl with wolf ears and tail, and called herself Horo, the god of fertility.
