Every year, numerous anime songs are released, and 2021 saw the birth of numerous great songs as well.
Among them, "Reverse-Rebirth", the OP theme of "Ace Attorney Shoujo" sung by voice actress Aina Suzuki, was especially popular and took first place.

The song, which is full of scale and a sense of speed, was colored by Ms. Suzuki's high singing ability, and is a classic anime song as well as a straightforward voice actress song. It is a song that truly symbolizes the current scene. It is a song that truly symbolizes the current anime scene, and it maintained its momentum as the No. 1 song in the popularity polls for the fall anime season.

Second place went to "Sing My Pleasure," the OP theme of "Vivy -Fluorite Eye's Song-. The song was sung by Kairi Yagi, who goes by the name of Vivy, the main character in the film.

Vivy is an independent humanoid AI who wishes to "make everyone happy with songs," and she is challenged to rewrite history in order to save the human race, which is on the verge of extinction due to an AI outburst. Her feelings for humanity, the hope and determination she entrusts in her songs ...... are all packed into "Sing My Pleasure," which has captured the hearts of many fans. The theme of the work and the song are inextricably linked, and this is another anime song that represents the year 2021.

Third place went to "Subversive" by Kanako Takatsuki. This song, the ED of "One Million Lives I Stand On" Season 2, is a song that pursues Ms. Takatsuki's charm as a singer.

The song is a hot song with Takatsuki's emotional singing voice over a cool and not too hot EDM sound.
Ms. Takatsuki is a member of the voice actress unit "Aqours" as well as No. 1 Aina Suzuki. The voice actors who belong to the unit were all active in the top three.

In fourth place was "You're my perfect mirror," the ED theme song for "Boundary War Machine," the second season of which is scheduled to start airing in April 2022. The song is sung by Yuna Tomikanehara, a high school student singer.

Tomikanehara's voice is full of presence, yet still has a freshness appropriate for her age, and she quietly enlivens the anime's ED. We look forward to seeing more of her in the future.

Another song "enemy," the OP theme of "Boundary War Machine," also came in at No. 6. This one was sung by the unidentified masked unit Blank Paper.

The music video suggests that they are a three-member unit consisting of twin male and female vocalists and a guitarist, but will the day come when their true identity is revealed? The song has a hard rock sound and is the theme song of a robot anime! It's cool, no questions asked! It is cool without question!

The breakthrough of singers active on the Internet can also be said to be a characteristic of 2021.
No. 5 Kaede Higuchi, who sings "Baddest," the OP of "One Million Lives," is a virtual youtuber belonging to NIJISANJI. In addition to video distribution, which is her main field of activity, she is also active in music, and "Baddest" is her first anime song tie-in.

No. 10 "The Detective is Already Dead." Meally of Meally x jon-YAKITORY, who sings the opening song "Koko ni Ikiteru," is a singer who has been developing her musical activities on the Internet. 2022 is expected to see even more singers and virtual you-tubers from the Internet. She may be the one to watch for the most in 2022.

Three artists tied for seventh place.
First was "Yakunara Mugugu too" ed "Pale Blue. The song is by Aya Uchida, a voice actress who is actively developing her artistic activities. The song, which describes the slow flow of daily life and feelings for loved ones, is all the more poignant in today's chaotic world. The square-cropped music video is also noteworthy.

Daisuke Ono's "Kemonomichi," the OP of "Kaibutsu Jihen" (Monster Incident), is a song with a passionate Latin style and a voice that is perfect for both men and women alike, making them all say, "Cool! and "Cool! He is the only male voice actor to make the top 10, which is understandable. Ono D is a true master of his craft, both in terms of popularity and ability. The music was provided by MOMIKEN, bassist of the rock band SPYAIR.

Also of note is the OP "Blessing," sung by Ayla Yuki of "Seijo no Mahou wa Banjo Desu Desu. This slow number with an organic and evergreen worldview that is in keeping with the work's worldview was well received by many viewers. After all, an anime song with a high level of understanding of the work is justified.

Tied for 10th place with "Koko ni Ikiteru" was "Love Live! Super Star! Super Star!" OP "START! True dreams". The song is sung by the school idol unit Liella!

The song was sung by the school idol unit Liella! series' school idol format of a nine-member group was broken, and a five-member group was used for this work. As a result, the vocal parts of each member have increased in volume, and the individuality of the characters (cast members) seems to have shone through in the songs.
The music itself is also finished in a "This is Love Live! and became a popular song without question.

Of course, there are many great songs in the top 11 and below as well.
We hope you will take a look at the voting results and look back at the anime songs of 2021.
