Flying DeLorean from "Back to the Future Part 2" sculpted in 1/6 scale! Equipped with LED light-up gimmick in multiple locations!

Hot Toys Japan announced that the Delorean Time Machine from "Back to the Future Part 2," sculpted as a 1/6 scale movable vehicle, will be released in September 2023. The price is 110,000 yen (tax included).

Since its establishment in 2000, Hot Toys has continued to create groundbreaking products one after another with innovative ideas. In particular, Hot Toys has become the world's number one manufacturer of high-end realistic figures with more than 30 points of articulation in 1/6 scale. Hot Toys has developed a variety of series, with the "Movie Masterpiece" series at the top of the list, which mainly features fascinating characters from Hollywood movies.

This time, Hot Toys' "Movie Masterpiece" series will be releasing a Delorean Time Machine from "Back to the Future Part 2," the second film in the classic science fiction series that continues to be loved around the world.

The DeLorean from "Back to the Future Part 2" will be sculpted in a powerful 1/6 scale, measuring approximately 72 cm in length, 35 cm in width, and 25 cm in height.

The exterior of the car is simple but has a strong presence, and is elaborately finished down to the smallest detail, with attention to texture and detail, including the dull shining hood, company logo, gull wings that can be opened and closed as set, the future "Mr. Fusion" super-compact nuclear reactor attached to the rear, and cable routing. The silver body of the car is painted with industry-leading technology to reproduce the unique metallic look of machined metal.

The headlights, reactor cooling holes, wheels, and underside of the body are illuminated by LEDs in multiple locations. The interior is precisely finished down to the smallest detail, including a time circuit in the center of the dashboard with "target time," "current time," and "departure time," switches mounted in various locations, and a dimensional transfer device in the center of the rear seat, all of which are illuminated by a built-in LED light-up function. The built-in LED light-up function allows you to enjoy the same effects as in the movie.

In addition, the rotating wheels can be folded to transform into a hovering state! A special pedestal is included for displaying the figure floating in mid-air.

Inside the vehicle, Marty McFly and Doc (Dr. Emmett Brown) from the "Movie Masterpiece" series can be mounted.
