New anime "Thermae Romae Novae" Kenjiro Tsuda introduces the other cast members in a special video with blurbs and tsukkomi!

A special video introducing the voice cast, narrated by Kenjiro Tsuda, has been released from the anime "Thermae Romae Novae," which will be distributed on Netflix from March 28, 2022 (Monday).

This is the first anime adaptation of "Thermae Romae" in about 10 years. Lucius, a young man working as a bath engineer in the Roman Empire, travels back in time between "ancient Rome" and "modern Japan" to introduce Japanese bathing culture into his own country's bathhouse in this outlandish "bath comedy. Mari Yamazaki, the author of the original story, participated in the series composition, and original episodes not in the original story were added to create a new "novae.

In the video released today, the voice actors who will play the peculiar characters surrounding Lucius are announced in "TSUDA Ken voice" with blurbs and impressions. Each character will be introduced one by one.

First, Sanae Kobayashi, a popular voice actress known for her roles in "D.Gray-man" and "Fafner of the Blue Sky," will play the role of Rewia, Lucius' beloved wife. Lucius' childhood friend and best friend, Marcus, will be played by Chikahiro Kobayashi, who has appeared in a succession of blockbusters including "Golden Kamui" and "Tensei Takera Kara Slyumu Datta Koto".

The serious butler Regulus is played by Satoshi Hino of "Wimpy Pedal" and "Demon Slayer" fame. The Roman Emperor Hadrian, who orders Lucius to build Thermae, will be played by the legendary Tsutomu Isobe, who played Han Solo in the "Star Wars" series.

In addition, the highlight of this video is Mr. Tsuda's "blurts" and quips in between the cast announcements!

The role of Mami Yamaguchi, an employee of a housing equipment manufacturer, is played by Asami Seto of "Chihayafuru" and "Jujutsu Kaisen" fame, who blurts out, "I didn't realize that's your name. Why are you here? is the voice of Shuichi Ikeda, a veteran voice actor of "Mobile Suit Gundam," "One Piece," "Detective Conan," etc., who plays Kuniyoshi Utagawa.

He also said, "Well... who is it? Yoshida is played by Takahiro Sakurai of "Osomatsu-san" and "Demon Slayer" fame. Keonius, Rome's most womanizing man, is played by Yoshimasa Hosoya of "The Boss's Daughter and Her Caretaker" and "Shinkoku no Kyojin" in a "very serious voice," and Marcus Annius Wealth, whose name is so long even Tsudaken gave up trying to read it, is played by Takahiro Sakurai of "Jujutsu Junya Enoki, known for his roles in "Jujutsu" and "Kaisen," passionately plays the role of Marcus Annius Wels.

<Story.
