KONAMI's dance game "DANCE aROUND" begins operation!

Konami Amusement Co., Ltd. launched its newest dance game "DANCE aROUND" today, March 3 (Thursday).

DANCE aROUND" is the latest dance game in the BEMANI series, in which players dance to the image of the moves on a timeline. The player's dance moves are read by a camera mounted on the machine and reflected in the score.

There are three game modes: "LIGHT," in which two songs can be played (the first song is up to LEVEL 6); "STANDARD," in which two songs can be played without LEVEL restrictions and players can advance to the EXTRA stage if they clear the two songs and their total score exceeds 200 points; and "TRAINING," in which players can play for six minutes without song restrictions. In addition, the avatar character displayed in the game can be selected from two different styles.

In "Normal Style," the avatar appears on the screen and dances as modeled, so beginners can easily enjoy dancing by simply imitating the avatar's movements. The "Performance Style" is for those who want to move freely with their own original choreography.
Only the trajectory of the player's arms and legs are displayed in the center of the screen, and an avatar reflecting the player's movements is displayed in real time in the preview window.

The music includes a wide range of well-known songs, including dance arrangements of J-POP and children's songs! You can experience various genres of dance.
