Momoko Sakura Pop-up Shop to open at Tokyo Station on March 18! Pre-sale of goods using her treasured artwork!

To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the original "Chibi Maruko-chan," a "Momoko Sakura Pop-up Shop" will be held at Tokyo Station from March 18 (Fri.) through March 31 (Thu.), 2022.

Chibi Maruko-chan" is a heartwarming work set in Shimizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture (now Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture), in which the author, Momoko Sakura, portrays her own reflection, Maruko, a third grader, and her family and friends in a heartwarming, funny, and sometimes sad way. Momoko Sakura started the serialization in "Ribon" (Shueisha) in 1986, and the year 2021 marks the 35th anniversary of the start of the serialization.


⇒The " Chibi Maruko-chan" anime, which was selected as a "divine episode," will be broadcast from December 5, 2012 with new artwork and direction! There are also episodes that make you cry such as "I love you, Tama-chan!


At the "Momoko Sakura Pop-up Shop", new goods from "Chibi Maruko-chan" and "Kojikoji" will be sold in advance. The new "Chibi Maruko-chan" goods use the treasured illustrations that Momoko Sakura drew for the goods in the early days of the series.
About 40 items, including stationery, sundries, and accessories, will be available. Novelty items are also available.
