A special ceremony was held today, March 10 (Thu.), prior to the opening of "The Masked Rider 50th Anniversary Exhibition," which will be held at the Nagoya venue from March 11 (Fri.), 2022.
The event was held at a special space outside the venue, watched by about 50 visitors who were recruited in advance.
The exhibition introduced the appeal of Masked Rider from various perspectives, from the Showa era, the Heisei era, and the 2025 era, with the hope that "each and every one of the visitors will remember 'those days'! This premium exhibition is filled with such thoughts.

The event was held at a special space outside the venue, watched by about 50 visitors who were recruited in advance. The event started with a greeting by Mr. Osamu Yoshimoto, Director and General Manager of Business Promotion Department of Toei, the organizer of the event, followed by the appearance of Mr. Yutaka Kobayashi, who was appointed as the Nagoya Special Ambassador for the event. During the event, at the sudden request of the MC, Mr. Kobayashi even performed a transformation pose!
As a big surprise, 35 Masked Riders from Masked Rider No. 1 to Masked Rider Revise gathered at the event!
The excitement of the event reached its peak, and not only the audience but also people who happened to pass by were surprised by the spectacle.
Finally, Mr. Kobayashi sent a message to the Masked Rider fans, "This "THE MASKED RIDER EXHIBITION" is really exciting, so I hope many people will come and see it! The event ended with a great success.

It has been 8 years since I played the role of Masked Rider, and even now, people on the street say to me, "It's Masked Rider! I still get calls from people on the street saying, "It's Masked Rider!
I am very happy to have been chosen as an ambassador for the exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of Masked Rider, a page from my youth, to be held in Nagoya, where I am also based.
I just had a chance to see the exhibition in person, and I thought that what Mr. Fujioka said in the video, "When I close my eyes, those days come back to me in an instant," was so true. I felt that I am still here with the same feelings I had back then (when we were shooting the film).
I am sure that each and every one of you has your own memorable Masked Rider, and I hope that this "THE Masked Rider Exhibition" will bring you back to "those days".
This "THE MASKED RIDER EXHIBITION" is a truly exciting exhibition, and I hope that many people will come and see it!
