Assassin's Creed Valhalla" major expansion content "The Beginning of Ragnarok" is now available!

Ubisoft today released "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" for PS4, PS5, Xbox and PC with the major expansion content "Ragnarok's Beginning".

The game is an open-world action RPG in which the player's "choices" and exploration take center stage, and is a popular series that allows players to become warriors in a long-ago Europe and enjoy beautiful scenery and a deep story.

With the series' first second year of content, "The Beginning of Ragnarok," the most extensive expansion in the series, is finally available. The second year also includes free seasonal content to further enjoy "Assassin's Creed Valhalla".

Developed by Ubisoft Sofia, "The Beginning of Ragnarok" is the most ambitious expansion in the Assassin's Creed series to date!
Avor, the god of war and wisdom in Norse mythology, is destined to become Odin. The Dwarven land of Svartalfheim is in a state of decadence and chaos, and Odin's beloved son, Baldr, is being held captive by the immortal fire giant Surt.

In "The Beginning of Ragnarok," players can unlock new divine powers by completing rescue quests in the mythical world and advancing the saga of the Vikings.

<Elements to be added.
A new gameplay system introduces the use of "power" by the enemy. The power can be used for combat, stealth, exploration, puzzle solving, and other purposes.
By acquiring "power" from defeated enemies, players can transform themselves into ravens, wreathe their weapons in ice for powerful attacks, and revive defeated enemies to make them their allies.

A new enemy, the Flame Titan of Muspelheim, has appeared. Use your "power" to fight effectively.

Explore the vast lands of Svart Alfheim and discover the hidden dwarven "hiding places. The Hiding Place is the base of the quest, and can be used for the quest to rescue his son, Valdor.

Prove your mettle by taking on challenges in the Valkyrie arena.

Get new equipment and weapons to perform combos, level up your gear, and change Avor's tattoos, hair, and settlement decorations.

Ragnarok's Beginnings" is positioned as end-game content to allow existing players to progress further. The recommended level is 340, but new players can play the expanded content immediately.
Players who have not yet reached level 340 can use the boosts in "The Beginning of Ragnarok" to improve their status and equipment.

Owners of "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" can purchase "Ragnarok's Beginning" for 5,280 yen (tax included). It is also available in the "Ragnarok Edition," which includes the main game and "The Beginning of Ragnarok," and the "Complete Edition," which includes the main game, Season Pass*, Ultimate Pack, and "The Beginning of Ragnarok.

Players who purchase "The Beginning of Ragnarok" by April 9, 2022 will receive the exclusive bonus "Twilight Pack," which can be applied immediately to the main game*.
They can obtain the "Dering's Messenger" skin for ravens, the "Haval'zur" skin for mounted animals, the "Twilight" set of accoutrements, and the "Algrunil" dane axe.
