The TV anime "Dance Dance Danceur," produced by MAPPA, will start airing on April 8 in the "Super Anime-ism" slot and elsewhere.

Dance Dance Danceur," a manga serialized in "Weekly Big Comic Spirits," tells the story of a junior high school student, Junpei Murao, who throws himself into the harsh world of ballet again, aiming to become the first Japanese "dancer noblesseur. This is the author George Asakura's first animated work, produced by MAPPA and directed by Munehisa Sakai ("ONE PIECE FILM STRONG WORLD" etc.).

The TV anime "Dance Dance Danceur" will start airing on April 8 (Fri.) from 25:25 in the "Super Animeism" slot and others. Following Daiki Yamashita, who will play the main character Junpei Murao, Koki Uchiyama and Kaede Motowatari have been chosen to play the roles of Ruoying Mori and Miyako Godai, respectively.

─ What did you think when you were chosen to play the role of Ryuugi?
I think there are many people who would like to be a part of the anime adaptation by MAPPA of a very attractive original story, but since it was decided for me, I wanted to do a better job than anyone else in Japan.

─ ─ Do you have a message for everyone who is looking forward to the TV anime?
I am really looking forward to seeing what kind of work it will be.
I hope many people, both ballet lovers and those who don't know much about ballet yet, will watch it.

─ What did you think when you were chosen to play the role of Miyako?
I didn't think I would get the part, so I was a mixture of surprise and joy, but also nervous about how I would face the role. During the audition, I had to deal with my own habits and the act of not acting, so I couldn't be complacent. Here we go, and here we go.

─ ─ Do you have a message for those who are looking forward to the TV anime?
I myself am looking forward to seeing something new in terms of ballet expression and acting. In terms of acting, we will be pursuing "acting without acting," and I hope that through such expressions, I will be able to touch your hearts and minds!

<Synopsis
