Taiwanese mazesoba specialty restaurant "Menya Haruka Akihabara" closed on March 17 due to relocation. New location to open in early May.

Menya Haruka Akihabara, a restaurant specializing in Taiwanese mazesoba, will close on March 17 (Thu) due to relocation. The location is along Chuo-dori Avenue on the B1F of the Tanaka Radio Building, which used to be occupied by G-Tune:Garage Akihabara, which closed in February.

The "Mazesoba" served at Menya Haruka Akihabara is soupless noodles topped with Taiwanese minced pork (spicy minced pork flavored with chili and garlic and flavored with soy sauce) and extra-thick noodles. In addition to the signature "Taiwan Mazesoba," the restaurant's menu includes the spicy "Curry Taiwan Mazesoba," the "Kimista (the yolk is the star!)," which offers the harmony of seared pork chashu and egg yolk. The menu also includes the "Toro Niku Mazesoba" with a generous portion of tender braised pork belly, and the "Tanzan Taiwan Mazesoba" available only at Menya Haruka's Akihabara branch.

According to the restaurant's website, "Menya Haruka Akihabara" will be closed from March 18 (Fri.) and will close on March 31, and the new restaurant is scheduled to open in early May. The new store is scheduled to open in early May. The new location will be on the first floor of the Kanda Eight Building, where the "e☆earphone Akihabara Store Order-Made Building" is located.
