I am truly honored that you have chosen me for the Animator Award three times, following the year before last and the year before last. It is unbelievable that something that is incredible just once can happen three times in a row. I was a little worried that this is the best time of my life at the moment and that nothing good will ever happen to me again in the future.
I believe that the reason I was able to receive this honor is because I had the opportunity to be seen by many people through my work "Demon Slayer," and the efforts of each and every one of the staff at UFORTABLE bore fruit, and the work was highly evaluated.
There are many things in animation production that are beyond one's control. There are many times when it is beyond my control and it is difficult, but with the support of Director Tonozaki and the other staff on site, we were able to work together to create each and every episode. I am grateful for the good fortune to be involved in the production of this work with my colleagues at UFORTABLE. We also recently announced the production of a sequel to the Demon Slayer anime. I would like to continue to devote myself to my work without pride, taking the satisfaction of my fans as my life's food for thought. Thank you very much for selecting me for the Animator Award.

Art, Color and Image Division: Yuichi Terao
I am very happy to receive this wonderful award. Thank you so much. I have been searching for beautiful, beautiful, beautiful images that move my heart since I started working in the industry for 20 years. For the first 10 years, I stayed at the office, working and researching. The next 10 years were spent mixing 2D/3D and building a team. In the process, I gradually built a good team. I am truly blessed to have such a great team and staff. I am surrounded by wonderful people. One of the things that we at UFORTABLE value is "the work. We have always believed that "the work is everything," and "let's take good care of the work. At this very moment, I am sure that 100 or 200 staff members are at their desks or on their machines, creating works of art. We really love making animation. We think it is worth putting our lives into making animation. It's a lot of fun. We don't really come to places like this very often, but we wanted to give as many people as possible a chance to know that we really love animation and are working hard to make it. I would like to thank once again those who discovered and appreciated our "filming job," a job that is a bit difficult to see. It is difficult to get together this year because of Corona, but I hope that next year we can all take off our masks and get together in one place.

Sound and Performance Division: Yuki Kajiura, Go Shiina

Comment from Mr. Kajiura
I am very honored to receive this prestigious award together with Mr. Go Shiina. I have always considered it a very happy job to color images with music, and when I receive recognition in the form of an award like this, I feel a renewed sense of joy that I have properly fulfilled my role. I will continue to devote myself to creating music that accompanies the images. Thank you very much.

Mr. Shiina, comment
Thank you very much for the individual award in the sound and performance category. I am very happy.
I believe that this award was made possible thanks to all the people involved in the production, including those outside of the music department, as well as all the people who support us on a daily basis. Thank you for your continued support.

<Anime Fan Award
Idolish Seven Third BEAT!
Director: Makoto Bessho
I never thought I would win this award two years in a row, so I am very happy. I am very happy because I never thought I would win an award for the second year in a row, and I am only able to win this award because of the support of our fans. I am also very grateful to all the staff and people who work so hard to meet the expectations of our fans.
Thank you very much.

<Picture Awards
Best Picture Award, TV Series Category: "Jujutsu Kaisen
Producer, Toho Company, Limited
Thank you very much for this honor. The director Park, MAPPA, the production company, the staff from each section, and the cast all worked together to create the best animation possible. As a result, I feel that the work has reached so many people. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those who were involved in this and, above all, to everyone who saw and enjoyed this work for receiving such an honorable award. Recently, it was announced that the second season will be broadcasted. I would like to take this award as encouragement to continue to work hard with everyone involved to make it a success.

Theatrical Film Division: "Shin Evangelion the Movie
Animation Producer: Yuki Sugitani, Color Co.
Thank you very much for the prestigious award. This work was completed with the help of many staff members, cast members, and many other people involved. I believe that we were able to achieve such a wonderful result thanks to the cooperation of people beyond the boundaries of the animation industry and the fans who have supported us for a long time. Once again, I would like to express my deepest gratitude.
Around the time the film was released, I once contacted Director Anno to thank him for his hard work, to which he replied, "Thank you. Thanks to all the staff," to which he replied, "Thanks. This was the same thing he said when the film was completed and at the first preview. So, although I could not be here today, if I had been here, I think I would have said the same thing, so I would like to express my gratitude from my own mouth instead. Thank you very much.

<Comments by Noboru Kawasaki, representative of the honorees
I am very happy to announce that seven people have been selected to receive this prestigious award at TAAF2022.
(I believe that all of you have been involved in animation and have done your best for the development of the animation industry, and it is a natural and happy result for you to receive this award.
However, my case was a little different. I have never been involved in animation, and when I heard about this award, I was surprised and thought, "Why would I get such an award? Thinking about it for a moment, I have drawn numerous cartoons. A few of them have been animated and broadcast on TV, and I wondered if that wasn't a major reason for winning this award. Since I am of a certain age, I thought that it is not every day that I come across such a prestigious award, so I made up my mind to accept this award, even if it is a bit of an imposition. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the animators and everyone involved for animating my work so long ago.
