The journey of the Elric brothers and the story will come to an impressive finale!
A long trailer of "Fullmetal Alchemist: The Complete Works - Scar the Avenger/Last Alchemy" was unveiled during the kick-off event featuring Ryosuke Yamada and Rumi Park at the Osaka venue of the "Fullmetal Alchemist Exhibition Returns".

The long trailer and scene photos depicting the battle from the destruction of Ishvar to "The Promised Day" have arrived.

The film begins with a scene in which the main character Edward Elric (Ryosuke Yamada), who is searching for clues in an abandoned building, reminisces about the "Battle of Ishvar," which is an important key point in the original story.
The scene shows the streets of Ishvar being mercilessly blown up, the relentless sound of gunfire, and people fleeing from the attacks of the Amestris army. ...... The scene is a spectacular one that conveys the horror of the battle for the destruction of Ishvar, in which Roy Mustang (Dean Fujioka) and other national alchemists were deployed as human weapons, and many people lost their lives.

Then, in the present day. In the present day, a series of murders targeting national alchemists occur. A mysterious man with a scar on his forehead, "Scar" (Arata), stands in front of Ed and his brother, Alphonse (Mizuishi Asumu). Scar attacks them with the famous line "Alchemists who defy the ways of God must be destroyed," which also appears in the original story.
Who is this man with a scar on his forehead, Scar? What is the reason for his hatred toward the national alchemist? The powerful battle scenes, depicted using the latest CG technology, are also worthy of your attention.

The film features King Bradley (Hiroshi Tachi), the grand commander of the Amestris Army, Major General Olivier Mira Armstrong (Chiaki Kuriyama), the sister of Major General Alex Louis Armstrong, the national alchemist and known as the "Queen of Ice," and Ling Yao (Yao Lin) from the eastern superpower of Sin, the "King of Sin. The cast includes Lin Yao (Keisuke Watanabe), who comes from the great eastern country of Shin, and Ed and Al's father, Van Hohenheim (Masaaki Uchino), who will not only continue from the previous film, but also join the cast.

What exactly is the "Promised Day" that the mysterious man with long hair called "Father" is talking about? Also, Alphonse (Asumu Mizushi), standing in front of the Door of Truth, finally makes his appearance.

Will Ed and Al be able to safely regain their own bodies? Ed's determination to Winry and the way all his friends call out to him are also shown, and it looks like we won't be able to take our eyes off the action until the very end. The last scene shows a mysterious man with the words "disappear and get lost, alchemist"...

Long preview.
