Award-winning "Zombie Army 4: Dead War" for Switch launches April 28! Details & New Video Arrive!

The Nintendo Switch version of the award-winning "Zombie Army 4: Dead War" is set for release on April 28, 2022. A new video was also released.

Developed by Rebellion, "Zombie Army 4: Dead War" for Nintendo Switch follows the successful Switch ports of "Sniper Elite 4" and "Strange Brigade. The game is set in 1940s Europe, where players battle hordes of occult enemies using a variety of weapons in an attempt to save mankind from zombies.

The Switch version features enhanced controls and the ability to fine-tune aiming using the gyro sensor. The game also features a cross-save function* that allows players to import their Steam save data to the Switch and continue fighting while on the move, and dynamically changes the resolution to achieve a smooth 30 fps, running at up to 1080p when connected to the dock and 720p when not connected.

Chilling to the bone, the same insane mayhem, bloodshed, and carnage as in previous entries in the series is brought to the Nintendo Switch without any compromise. The game is ideal for cooperative play, supporting two to four players in both local communication mode and online mode.

The Nintendo Switch version, which supports the Pro Controller, includes all additional content from Season Pass 1 and all horde maps since its release!
Season Pass 1 will be 3 additional stages, 4 character packs, 9 weapon bundles, 5 weapon skin packs, and 4 character costume bundles.

Season Pass 2 and Season Pass 3 will be available for purchase upon launch, allowing players to enjoy a vast array of additional content. The game also features an extensive in-game achievement system. Upon completing the basic storyline, players will unlock Nightmare Mode, which increases the difficulty level of the game.

*The cross-save feature imports saved games from your Steam account to your Nintendo Switch, and does not support Switch to Steam transfers.
There is also no general progression and cross-platform purchases are not supported.
