Natsuki Hanae: "Don't Miss the End Roll! Odd Taxi in the Woods" completion announcement stage greeting report has arrived.
A report on the completion announcement of "Odd Taxi in the Woods," which will be released nationwide on April 1, 2022 (Friday), with Natsuki Hanae and others on stage, has arrived.
The TV anime "Odd Taxi" aired on TV Tokyo from April 2021. This work, which betrayed the cute visuals of the characters and developed a full-fledged mystery suspense, caused a huge sensation as its shivering final episode, in which the foreshadowing that had been meticulously laid out from the very first episode was recovered, became a trending topic on Twitter.
The cast and crew of the TV series will reunite to spin the story from a new perspective.

On March 16, 2022, a stage greeting was held to announce the completion of the film. The leading actress Natsuki Hanae, Riho Iida, the comedy duo "Miki" and "Diane," and director Mugi Kinoshita took the stage.
Stage Greeting Report (in Japanese only)
First of all, Hanae was asked about her role as "Odogawa," the eccentric 41-year-old cab driver, to which she replied, "Why me? I wondered why me, but as I learned more about my past, I understood. I enjoyed the postrecording," said Hanae. I enjoyed the postrecording as well.
Iida, who played the role of the enigmatic nurse Shirakawa, commented on her impressions of the role she played, "In the beginning, she was so mysterious that I thought she might be a mastermind, but as I followed the story, she developed a human side.
Miki and Diane were then asked about their voice acting experience in TV anime. Miki, who plays the role of Daimon's twin brother and a police officer, proudly stated, "I have voice-acted in a Disney film! Yusuke and Tsuda of Diane also put on a face, saying, "We were in the anime 'Black Jack' too. When it was revealed that only Kosei, who plays Daimon's brother, a police officer who hates cab drivers, was trying his hand at voice acting for the first time, he was told by Aki, "You're the only brother! and he was left out of the group.
Kosei commented on the reaction of the audience to the broadcast, "My fellow comedians said, 'It's very funny! Kawashima-san from Kirin and others were very impressed with the show. There was quite a reaction. Even though I was only involved for two days, I said, 'Thanks! I was only involved for two days, but I said 'ah, thank you' to the director. The director gave me one word of advice at a time, and in the end I said, 'What's wrong with it? I was told by the director one by one that there was nothing wrong with the recording! While Kosei was in a panic to deny it, Iida responded, "That's scary! Iida responded, "That's scary! Director Kinoshita responded, "I don't mean 'I don't know! I don't understand! I don't understand! The director Kinoshita responded in a friendly manner, drawing laughter.
On the other hand, Diane and Yusuke played homo sapiens, a comedy duo who moved to Tokyo from the Kansai region but are not selling well. Yusuke said, "I can't have my ground showing in the role of a comedian. I got into a fight with the director. We had a fight with the director, who asked, 'What kind of planning? We had a clash of opinions. Tsuda responded, "What? I was just doing what the director told me to do! And you've been saying 'planning' all day! You learned that yesterday? He screamed, "I memorized it yesterday! When Tsuda was asked how he felt about the postrecording, he replied with no substance, "I was entertained...it was fun," to which all of the speakers immediately responded, "It's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much! I mean...it was fun." All the speakers immediately responded, "It's not that I didn't enjoy it.
When asked what she thought of the TV series, Hanae again praised the fun of the work, saying, "It was so compelling and the story so interesting that I could have watched the entire episode in one day. Iida also said that as a viewer, he was fascinated by the series, saying, "I was surprised to find out that that line was used in the story.
Kosei said, "I was also surprised when I watched the anime." Aki said, "A comedian was watching the anime on TV at a comedy theater and told me, 'You should watch it too! I was told in reverse.
Yusuke continued, "Before I saw it, I imagined it would be like 'Tsuyoshi, get a grip,' but it was so different from what I thought it would be that I was shocked. The comedians again made fun of him, saying, "The last part is a minus! The comedians were again quick to criticize, saying, "The last part is a minus!
The cast showed such a friendly and convivial attitude that Director Kinoshita commented, "Everyone fits their characters well. I thought it was a success once again," said director Kinoshita, pleased with the casting.
During the event, it was also announced that the special gift to the audience would be a sticker with an unpublished testimonial drawn by Director Kinoshita. The sticker is designed to reveal an unpublished testimonial note from inside the film, with the picture drawn by director Kinoshita and the testimonial by screenwriter Watsuya Konomoto.
Testimonial memos by Yano, Shibagaki, Nikaido & Ichimura & Yamamoto are distributed at random. These testimonial memos, the meaning of which will be understood after seeing the film, will be distributed at theaters from April 1 to 7.
In closing, Hanae said, "The story ended well, and I wondered what more they were going to do with the film, but the content is interesting enough to dispel my fears. Please don't miss every detail until the end roll. And please enjoy watching it after April 1, as there will be some interesting tricks at the very end!" The event ended with a great success.
Odd Taxi in the Woods" will be released in theaters nationwide on April 1.
The event will be held on April 1, 2012.

<Story>
An eccentric and uncommunicative eccentric, <Kotogawa>, drives a private taxi through the city.
He spends his ordinary days driving a private cab around town, trying not to get involved with others as much as possible.
One day, however, he unexpectedly gets involved in the "Nerima Ward high school girl disappearance case. The case becomes chaotic as various things become intertwined, including a huge sum of money exceeding 100 million yen, a group of semi-gangsters with an unknown purpose, an idol on the market, and a university student who is becoming increasingly charismatic.
Nevertheless, the situation comes to a head when a plan is put into action. The series of events came to an end with much sadness and absurdity.
--The people involved were not happy, but they were not happy at all.
