In March, the name of the amusement center, which had been under the "SEGA" brand, was changed to "GiGO," and the signs at each store in the Akihabara area were also changed to the new name.

The following stores have changed their names as of March 18 (Fri.).

GiGO Akihabara No. 1 (formerly Sega Akihabara No. 1)
GiGO Akihabara Building 3 (former Sega Akihabara Building 3)
GiGO Akihabara No. 4 (former Sega Akihabara No. 4)
GiGO Akihabara No. 5 (former Sega Akihabara No. 5)

The word "GiGO" is a symbol of SEGA's commitment to maintaining the company's 56-year history of game centers as an oasis that satisfies people's needs and desires. The key word for this is "Get into the Gaming Oasis! and the acronym "GiGO" was chosen to stand for it.

In addition, there will be no change in the "operation" and "installed machines" of the stores, and a campaign is underway to give away a limited number of original stickers by following each store's Twitter account.
