Wolf Children" will be aired on BS12 Twelvi, a nationwide free-to-air broadcasting station, on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.

BS12 Twelvi is currently airing "Sunday Anime Gekijo," a program specializing in feature-length and feature-length animated films on Sunday nights from 7 p.m. On Sunday, March 27, 2022, "Wolf Children: Rain and Snow," a story about a family living a mysterious destiny, will be broadcast by"The Dragon and the Freckled Princess" director Mamoru Hosoda.

Wolf Children" is an original feature-length animated film directed by Mamoru Hosoda, the director of "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time" and "Summer Wars", who established his own animated film production company "Studio Chizu".

In this film, Hosoda depicts "a woman's growth through love, marriage, childbirth, and child rearing" and "the process of her children's growth from birth to independence as they find their own path in life. What choices do they make as parents or as children in various phases of their lives? The film depicts such a realistic and universal theme that everyone faces, using a fantastic setting of "wolf children" born between a "wolf man" and a human.

Aoi Miyazaki plays the main character Hana, the mother of two "wolf children," and Takao Osawa plays the "wolf man," with a script by Sadoko Okudera and Mamoru Hosoda. Yoshiyuki Sadamoto is in charge of character design.

<Story> "Wolf Children" (Ame to Yuki)
Hana, a college student in the suburbs of Tokyo, falls in love with a "wolf man" named "he" who has the blood of a wolf. They begin to live together, and the children born to them are "wolf children" with two faces, one human and one wolf. They named the older sister Yuki, who was born on a snowy day, and the younger brother Ame, who was born on a rainy day.
Their happy days were suddenly taken away when "he" died.
Hana, who was left behind, vowed to raise them properly and decided to move to an old, shabby house in a rural town surrounded by rich nature, so that her children could choose between being human or wolf in the future.
