The 3D web animation "RWBY," produced by Rooster Teeth Productions of the U.S. and currently in its eighth season, has released information on its new TV animation "RWBY: Ice and Snow Empire.

RWBY" is a web animation produced by Rooster Teeth Productions in the U.S., and has gained popularity beyond borders with its character modeling without the stiffness of 3DCG, powerful action, and heartwarming scenario. This action film depicts a girl who attends a training school for "hunters" to fight against "grimms" who threaten the human race, and how she grows up together with her friends. In Japan, a dubbed version with a splendid cast was released and event screenings were held, creating a big buzz.

The new project "Team RWBY Project," which started on February 1, has revealed information about the new TV anime "RWBY: Ice and Snow Empire," created by the superb staff of Gen Urobuchi (Nitroplus), Tow Ubukata, huke, Toshimasa Suzuki, and Shaft.

RWBY Hyosetsu Teikoku" key visual has been unveiled.
The key visual was newly drawn by Nobuhiro Sugiyama, who is the character designer and chief animation director of this work. The illustration depicts the main characters of the film, Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang, and foreshadows the beginning of the story.

Since Mr. Angei of Good Smile Company approached us, we have been working on this project while overcoming various challenges. This project is designed to be easy to understand for those who are new to the "RWBY" series. I got involved in this project when a certain P asked me if I knew about "RWBY". I hadn't seen it at the time, but I was intrigued and watched it right away, and was immediately fascinated. It is an action-packed fantasy world that incorporates various dramas that young people around the world may experience, as well as family issues, racial discrimination, and other problems. I thought I could learn a lot from this, so I joined the production, which has been a great inspiration for me. We hope that more people will get to know "RWBY" and that we can help convey the charm of this world.

I am huke, an illustrator. I never thought I would be involved now, almost 10 years after I was impressed by the first RWBY "Red" Trailer, a 3D short animation that was so amazing. I am honored to be involved in "RWBY," which is a very special work for me as well.

I am very happy to be involved in the Japanese adaptation of "RWBY".
I respect the charm of the original work with dynamic and sharp action and bouncy character interactions, while using the grammar of Japanese animation.
We have gone through a process of trial and error with the staff to create beautiful images using hand-drawn action and visual processing.
We hope to convey the charm of the story and characters as a new animation to those who are watching "RWBY" for the first time, and we hope to deliver the activities of Team RWBY with some new tricks that fans of the original work can enjoy.
