A completely new original anime "Extreme Hearts" will start airing on TV in July 2022.

Extreme Hearts" is a completely new original work written and scripted by Maki Tsuzuki, known for her "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha" series. It has been announced that it will be produced by the strong staff of the "Nanoha" series.

The story is about a high school singer, Youkazu Hayama, who meets his best friends as a result of an incident in the future when "Hypersports," a hobby sport played by making full use of support items and extreme gear, is gaining popularity.

A promotional video for the film has now been released. The video introduces the characters of Yowa Hayama (cv. Ruriko Noguchi), former soccer player Sakiki Kotaka (cv. Miho Okazaki), and former baseball player Junka Maehara (cv. Kana Yuuki), and foreshadows the development of the story as they take on the "Hypersports" competition.

The opening theme is "Infinite" by Miho Okazaki, who herself plays the role of Saki Kotaka! The song is a new song with an energetic vocal that seems to go all the way through, and you can listen to it early in the PV.
