Neon Genesis GPX Cyber Formula" will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2021, and all of the original soundtracks of the TV series and four OVAs have now been released through subscription services and download distribution, including high-resolution versions of some tracks.

In particular, the original soundtracks of the TV series "Neon Genesis GPX Cyber Formula" and the OVAs "Double One" and "Zero" (titles that were released on CD by Datum Polystar at the time) will be digitally remastered in 2020 and digitally distributed for the first time including high-resolution. The new soundtrack is a rocking and melodious set of songs with a powerful band sound that is clearer and more dynamic than ever.

The series, which started in 1991, depicts "Cyber Formula," a next-generation motorsports series in which cars with speed and performance far surpassing those of F1 and incorporating cutting-edge technology compete. The drama of the many characters, including the drivers and teammates, as well as the state-of-the-art machines equipped with AI, has captivated many fans to this day.

The music for the TV series "Neon Genesis GPX Cyber Formula" and the OVA "Zero" was composed by Sachi Otani, who later worked on "New Mobile Gundam W" and "Hoshiho Bukyou Outlaw Star," and for the OVA "11" he collaborated with Mari Konishi.
The music for the OVAs "SAGA" and "SIN," which take place further into the future, was composed by Toshihiko Sahashi, who later worked on "GEAR Warrior Dendo" and "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" as well.
