TV series "Ultraman Decker" starts airing on July 9! Transformation appearance, images and comments have arrived!

Tsuburaya Productions will begin broadcasting the new TV series "Ultraman Decker" on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. on the six TV Tokyo networks.

The latest TV series "Ultraman Decker" depicts the never-giving-up battle of the new hero "Ultraman Decker" and the adolescent drama of the young members of the expert team "GUTS-SELECT" who are determined to forge a hopeful future. The story takes place several years after the TV series "Ultraman Trigger NEW GENERATION TIGA," which gained popularity last year as "Tiga in 2025," when the "neo-frontier spirit" of humanity's quest for the unknown expanded into space.

The new hero "Ultraman Decker" is a new light giant who appears on Earth, which is under attack by a swarm of mysterious "Sphere" space-floating objects that have suddenly attacked the planet. Asumi Kanata, a new member of the expert team "GUTS-SELECT" newly reorganized by the Earth Peace Alliance TPU, is imbued with this light and faces numerous enemies in search of what awaits beyond the limits.

This main character "Kanata" will be played by Hiroki Matsumoto, who won the Grand Prix at the 2018 Junon Super Boy Contest. In his first starring role in a TV drama, he plays the role of "Kanata," a bright and kind young man who gives his all to whatever comes in front of him, with full of fresh charm, and transforms into "Ultraman Decker" with the new transformation item "Ultra D Flasher" in hand.

Ultraman Decker Miracle Type
This is a form of Ultraman Decker that specializes in supernatural abilities.
When he changes types, he calls out, "Jump out! Miracle!" The signature move is the space in the right hand.
His signature move is the super shockwave "Realute Wave," which compresses space to create a black hole in his right hand and shoots it out.

The new transformation item "Ultra D Flasher," which Kanata uses to transform into Ultraman Decker.
The lower part of the item is engraved with a pattern that looks like Decker's face, and the top part of the item has a folded crystal part.

I am Takei, and I will be the main director of the film.
While taking over the worldview of "Trigger", I aim to create a new story with a different approach from that of "Dinah".
The theme of the story is "the future. It is a story about the growth of Kanata, a positive protagonist who never falters, and other characters full of individuality. We hope that the series will make viewers feel the importance of the individuality of each character and the bonds between them as they try to open up the future as human beings and as Ultraman.

Masayoshi Takesue was born on September 4, 1978 (age 43) in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
He moved to Tokyo to study film directing and entered Nikkatsu Academy of Arts, where he studied film with director Kiyotaka Taguchi, who was a classmate. While still in school, he participated in a number of productions to gain training, and after joining the series for the first time as an assistant director for the TV series "Ultraman Cosmos" in 2001, he worked as a director and assistant director for various productions before returning to the Ultraman series as a director with the TV series "Ultraman Orb" and his first main directorial role with the TV series "Ultraman R/B" in 2018. He was the main director of the film.
He also directed the TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION original movie "Ultraman Trigger Episode Z" which was recently released on March 18, and is an indispensable director for New Generation Heroes productions.

I have loved Ultraman since I was a child. Even after I became an adult and started working on screenplays, I kept saying how much I liked it in various places, and I was fortunate enough to be involved in the film as a script collaborator.
A few years later, I was also able to participate in a TV series as a writer for each episode. I thought, "You never know what will happen in life. ......," but I never expected to be a series writer. To be honest, I was more nervous than happy.
But I have no choice but to do this. I will do my best to draw a new story while inheriting the charm of the past Ultraman series.

Toshizo Nemoto was born on January 10, 1974 (age 48) in Niigata Prefecture.

He made his debut as a scenario writer for video games. He has been in charge of series composition and scriptwriting for many animation works. For Tsuburaya Productions, he worked on "Ultraman Zero The Movie: Super Battle! Belial Galactic Empire" as a script collaborator. He has also written the screenplay for the TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION original movie "Ultraman Trigger Episode Z," which will be released on March 18, and has already worked with director Takei on the story before the movie. He is already weaving the story of the previous installment of this film with director Takei.

The film is a sequel to "Ultraman Trigger: Episode Z.
