AnimeJapan2022】New services and contents were announced one after another! Report Part3: Aniplex, NBC, Banpresto, ISARIBI, S-FIRE, and more!

AnimeJapan 2022 was held at Tokyo Big Sight on March 26 (Sat.) and 27 (Sun.), 2022.

AnimeJapan, one of the world's largest anime events, is a comprehensive animation event with the theme "Everything about anime is here. At the venue, booths of anime-related companies and stage events featuring many creators and voice actors will be held.
AnimeJapan 2022, which will be held on March 26 (Sat.) and 27 (Sun.), 2022, will be the first real event to be held in three years, after being canceled in 2020 due to the new coronavirus and being held online in 2021.

Akiba Research Institute also covered the event. In this issue, we would like to report on new content, new services, and other exhibits that give us a glimpse of the cutting edge of the industry.

Aniplex
Aniplex has released many hit and talked-about works.
Their booth also exhibited a variety of works.

Shadow House," for which a second season has been announced, displayed a giant ink painting by ink painter Okazu Okazu!


The spring anime "Gunsei no Fanfare" collaborated with "Sports Hochi.
Information on the works was distributed in the style of a sports newspaper.


The highly anticipated "Urusei Yatsura" displayed autographs of Hiroshi Kamiya and Sumire Uesaka!


Demon Slayer" was displayed in a brothel-like setting. The "Demon Slayer" exhibit was reminiscent of a brothel, and was a big promotion of the "Sword Forging Village" section.


Various other works were also on display along with rare items.


NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan
At the booth of NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan, which celebrated its 40th anniversary, a chronological table summarizing the history of its animation business starting from the days of its predecessor, Pioneer LDC, was displayed!


Also on display were new animations "Not Just Cute, Shikimori-san" and "Prima Doll".


ISARIBI
ISARIBI, which handles content production, event production, and management, presented its new content "swing, sing.


This work, which depicts high school girls going about their daily lives through jazz, will focus on music and comics.
Akiba Research Institute will be keeping a close eye on it!


S-FIRE
Sega's new hobby brand "S-FIRE" exhibited new figures to be released in the future, as well as an AR application (name to be determined) that activates effects on the figures when photographed with a smartphone camera.
Look out for more developments in the future!


BANPRESTO
Banpresto, well-known for its prizes, exhibited a cutting-edge prize machine that uses the latest technology!
This is where the future of prizes lies!


And a companion was handing out straps & wet wipes.
