I never thought such a wonderful thing could happen!
All three songs in the series ranked in the top three of the Oricon Weekly Ranking! I made my debut in 1985 with the theme song for Mobile Suit Z Gundam, and now, in my 50s, in 2025, I am chewing on my non-negotiable place in the world. It is thanks to all the passionate fans who have been carving Gundam songs into their lives, the staff at King Records and the office, and everyone who has been involved. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
It was received by people who had no interest in ani-songs or Hiroko Moriguchi, and we were able to break down barriers of prejudice and aversion to food. The third volume, a sequel to the first and second volumes, which were distributed in high-resolution format and won first place, is also a storm of luxurious sounds created in collaboration with some of our favorite artists. From big band style jazz, to upper rock, to an enchanting world, to a solemn and mysterious world.... The rearranged Gundam songs come to life.
The trackdown and mastering of this album was done with the staff, who are like a family, and the work was done with the utmost care. This is a confident work that was produced by a team that was not very patient, in a good sense of the word, until the very end, within a limited time frame.
