A disturbing shadow...Spring anime "Kingdom" 4th series, episode 2 synopsis & advance scene cuts revealed!

The second episode of the fourth series of "Kingdom," which airs every Saturday from 24:00 on NHK Sogo, has revealed its synopsis and advance scene cuts.

Kingdom" (written by Yasuhisa Hara) is a Chinese Warring States epic romance about a boy, Nobu (CV: Seiichi Morita), who aims to become a great general under the heaven, and a young king, Yosei (CV: Jun Fukuyama), who later becomes the first emperor of Japan. The second live-action movie will be released in the summer of 2022.

The synopsis and advance scene cuts of the second episode of the TV anime, which will air on April 16 (Sat), have been released.

■Episode 2 "A Disturbing Shadow
As reconstruction progresses after the war, the struggle between Qin King Isei and his rival Lu Biwei for control of the country grows more intense.
The battle between the Isei camp, which was expanding its power with the help of his younger brother Cheng'ai, and Lu Biwei, who was using his wealth to increase his camp, became almost evenly matched. Although it is a key northeastern strategic point for the state of Qin, the powerful generals are on expeditions in various directions and cannot be dispatched in a hurry. In this situation, Cheng Yuan personally requests to go into battle.
