The first PV of the TV anime "Demon Slayer" Sword Forging Village Arc has been released.

The anime "Demon Slayer" is based on the manga by Yoseharu Agatoge (published by Shueisha Jump Comics) and produced by ufotable. Tanjiro Kamado, whose family was killed by demons, joins the "Demon Slayer Squad" and fights to turn his sister Priestess back to human. In December 2021, the TV anime "Yuukaku-hen" will be broadcasted, and after the broadcast, the TV anime "Katakana-no-sato" will be released. After the TV anime "Yuukaku-hen" was broadcasted in December 2021, it was announced that a "Sword Forging Village Arc" would be produced.

On April 16 and 17, "Kimetsu Festival - Anime 3rd Anniversary" was held at Hall 2 and 3 of Makuhari Messe. 10,000 people came to Makuhari Messe for the two-day event, and the stage programs, "Kimetsu no Banquet - Yuukaku Hen" (held on April 16) and "Kimetsu no Banquet - Mugen Train Hen (April 17, 17:00), and the live viewing at movie theaters and online distribution of the stage programs "Kimetsu no Banquet - Yugaku-hen" (April 16) and "Kimetsu no Banquet - Mugen Train-hen" (April 17), a total of 40,000 people attended and enjoyed the event.

In the exhibition area, various exhibits related to the "Mugen Train" and "Yu-Gaku" sections were held.
In the "Infinity Train Arc" area, where a train that reproduced the Infinity Train in the movie was exhibited, visitors can relive famous scenes from the anime through a dialogue and visual gallery, as well as feel the mission of the Infinity Train through the reproduction of the beef hotpot lunch box that Purgatory ate and the tentacles of Nightmare. In the "Yugaku-hen" area, the streets of a brothel and the "Tokito-ya," "Ogi-ya," and "Kyogoku-ya" are recreated. The area is decorated with various exhibits that make you feel as if you are sneaking into the brothel with Sumijiro and his friends.

In addition to the two areas, there will be an "Illustration Gallery" featuring key visual posters, actual package illustrations, collaboration illustration copyrights, Mini-Kyara copyrights, etc., a "One Cut Exhibition" featuring a making-of video and original reproductions, autographs and scripts, and transportation advertising materials such as magazines and train hangings featuring the copyrights, etc. A "Promotional Exhibition Corner" featuring a collection of promotional materials, a variety of goods, and message flags with messages submitted by fans were also on display.

There was also a corner where visitors could watch animated scenes dubbed in various languages, measures to enjoy "Demon Slayer" in English, Chinese, Italian, French, German, and Thai, an area to experience the home-use game "Demon Slayer Hinokami Kofu Tan", and a meet-and-greet with stuffed animals. The "Demon Slayer Hinokami Blood Tale" home video game experience area, and the "stuffed animal" meet-and-greet were also very popular.

The "Kimetsu no utage" stage program was held on the 16th and 17th as the "Yuukaku" and "Infinity Train" sections, respectively. Kimetsu no Banquet" was composed of a combination of readings and live recording, and was the first performance in two and a half years since the previous show in 2019.

Set against the backdrop of a brothel town set, "Kimetsu no Banquet - Yuukaku Hen" features Natsuki Hanae, Akari Kito, Hiro Shimono, Sadayuki Matsuoka, and Katsuyuki Konishi. Aimer appeared as a secret guest, gracing the stage with live performances of "Zankyo Sanka" and "Asa ga Kuru" from the play. There was also a further surprise at the end of the stage. The first PV of the TV anime "Demon Slayer" Sword Forging Village, which has been announced for production, was shown on the screen, showing the history of Sumijiro and his friends' battles up to now, as well as scenes of blacksmithing in the next mission site, Sword Forging Village, and the appearance of the Kasumi Pillar, Muichiro Tokitoru, and the Koi Pillar, Mitsuri Kanroji, and Sumijiro fighting with his sword drawn. After the PV, Kengo Kawanishi, who plays Tokitoru, and Kana Hanazawa, who plays Amarouji, made a secret appearance on stage. The event ended with great excitement.

The "Kimetsu no Banquet - Infinity Train Arc" was performed against the backdrop of the Infinity Train set and featured Natsuki Hanae, Akari Kito, Hiro Shimono, Sadacheng Matsuoka, and Satoshi Hino. In the second half of the story, Akira Ishida, who plays Kimetsu, made a sudden appearance as Kimetsu in the play. The unannounced appearance of Ishida was a big hit at the venue. During the play, LiSA sang "Dawn Star," "White Silver," and "Flame" live with a secret appearance. The curtain was closed amidst loud applause.

The audience was very excited and applauded the performance.

Both days of "Kimetsu no Banquet" will also be available for live viewing in movie theaters and online streaming. The online streaming will be available until Sunday, April 24.
