The anime "BLACK*ROCK SHOOTER DAWN FALL" will be broadcast on terrestrial TV and distributed exclusively as much as you can watch on Disney Plus from April 3, 2022. Part A of the first episode will be shown on YouTube and a special live distribution program will be held on April 25 (Mon.).

Black Rock Shooter" is an original character created by illustrator huke, whose music video posted on Nico Nico Douga has received over 7.5 million views since 2008, and a TV anime has been broadcast in 2010 and 2012. Rock Shooter DAWN FALL" was announced in September 2021.

＜Synopsis
The year is 2062 AD. Twenty years after the failure of a project to greatly automate the workforce, Artemis, the artificial intelligence at the core of the project, has chosen to fight against humanity, and the earth has been devastated.
A young girl, Empress, awakens in an underground research facility at a base.
She is one of the three surviving guardians of humanity.
However, she has no memory of her past. The colonel of the peacebuilding army tells Empress that she has no memory of what happened before.
Empress has a mission to destroy the orbital elevator connecting the Moon and Earth, which is currently under construction by Artemis, before it is completed.
Once completed, the giant machine army currently being mass-produced on the moon will come to Earth in droves.
However, the Dead Master and Strength, who were supposed to be his friends, Artemis' unmanned army, and Smiley, a member of the cult group "Educational Institution," try to block his path.
Amidst these various interlocking agendas, Empress and the Colonel make their way toward the orbital elevator. What awaits them ahead is revealed at .......

<Original Story Information
Black Rock Shooter" is an original character designed by illustrator huke and published on the illustration posting site pixiv and his blog on December 26, 2007. Inspired by this illustration, ryo of supercell wrote the music, huke added the video, and the video "Black Rock Shooter" was posted on the video-sharing website Nico Nico Douga on June 13, 2008, and has received over 7.5 million views (as of September 2021).
It has been developed into a variety of videos, comic books, goods, and figures, and has many overseas fans.
On December 26, 2017, a 10th anniversary illustration drawn by huke was released to great acclaim. A scale figure based on that illustration was also announced in December 2020.
