Shot in the head...Spring Anime "Summertime Renda" Episode 2 Synopsis & Advance Scene Cuts Released! Suspense starring Natsuki Hanae

The second episode of the TV anime "Summertime Renda" has been released with a synopsis and preceding scene cuts.

Based on Yasunori Tanaka's manga "Summertime Renda," which is serialized in "Shonen Jump +" and has a total of over 130 million PV. It is a time-traveling sci-fi suspense set on the island of Nittogashima in Wakayama City. When the original work was completed, it was announced that it would be adapted into an anime and live-action series, and it became a trending topic on Twitter.

Suspense anime "Summertime Renda" will start airing on April 14! Comments from Hanae Natsuki and others, and additional cast members including Hikasa Yoko!

The TV anime airs every Thursday from 24:00 on TOKYO MX and BS11, and from 26:55 on Kansai Television. The synopsis of the second episode and advance scene cuts have been released.


The synopsis and advance cuts are as follows.
#02 "Shadow
Shinpei is shot in the head by Mio's "shadow," but when he regains consciousness, he finds himself on a ferry heading to Hitogashima. After that, the "same" events as before he was shot were repeated.
While alone with his thoughts, Shinpei witnesses the murder of the island's resident, Decomura, by Mio, who stabbed him to death with a kitchen knife. He also sees the "shadow" of Dekomura being generated from the murdered Dekomura. Shinpei is shocked by what happens in front of his eyes, but then he sees Mio holding a kitchen knife.

After hearing the news of the death of his childhood friend, Ushio Kobune, Shinpei Amishiro returns to his hometown, Hitogashima, Wakayama City, for the first time in two years.
