Rainbow Six Siege: Emerald Plains, the First New Map in Three Years! Video also released!

The tactical shooter game "Rainbow Six Siege" has added its first new map in three years.

Ubisoft's "Rainbow Six" series, which has been in development since December 2015, is a popular FPS as an e-sports discipline. tactical co-op PvE game "Rainbow Six Extraction" will be released in January 2022, and the latest "Rainbow Six Mobile" is currently in development.

Now, the first new map in three years, "Emerald Plains," has been added to "Rainbow Six Siege" and is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, Xbox Game Pass and Ubisoft+.

The Emerald Plains country club and private ranch is located in the rolling hills of Northern Ireland. The idyllic location allows players to explore a variety of approaches, such as rappelling in through skylights, taking advantage of internal staircases to secure a vantage point, or finding a covered spot in a stairwell with a fireplace.

The two floors within "Emerald Plains" feature the traditional style of the manor house on the upper floor, as opposed to the modern lower floor. Partially inspired by "Barlett College" and "The Border," the spacious area creates a vast playing space despite the medium-sized map.

It is also possible to play "Emerald Plains" with this season's new operator, AZAMI. Equipped with the Kiba Barrier, which seals holes in walls and floors, AZAMI allows for a mobile and versatile defensive approach.

Year 7 will feature further new maps, cross-play and cross-progression, improved player behavior using the reputation system, a new Team Deathmatch mode, and many other updates.
