Big brother is finished! is a popular comic by the original author, Nekotoufu, serialized in "Monthly ComicREX" (Ichijinsha). The first volume of the commercial version of the comic was released by Ichijinsha in June 2018. In addition, the manga has been serialized in Ichijinsha's "Monthly ComicREX" since June 2019, and as of April 2022, the total number of copies of the commercial version has exceeded 500,000 (including e-books).
In this very popular comedy, Mahiro "ex-brother" Oyama struggles to graduate from being a recluse while struggling with life as a girl.

The long-awaited TV anime adaptation of the manga, which has won a number of awards, including "Manga Ranking 2020: Anime Adaptation" (No. 3), "Web Manga General Election 2019" (No. 9), and "Next Coming Manga Grand Prize 2018" (No. 5), is now set to be made.

To commemorate the TV anime adaptation, a teaser visual for the work has been released.
The main character, "ex-brother" Mahiro Oyama, who has taken the form of a cute girl, looks a little bewildered at the sudden change into a girl.

In addition, to commemorate the anime adaptation, an "Original PV Commemorating the Decision of the Anime Adaptation" was released, in which the story of the first part of the original comic can be enjoyed with the character voices of Mahiro and Mihari Oyama. In addition, to celebrate Mihari's birthday on April 22, a newly drawn manga by Nekotofu was also released.

The staff information of the TV anime was also released. The director is Shingo Fujii, who has storyboarded, directed, and created original drawings for numerous works, including the TV anime "Unemployment Reincarnation: Isekai-torekkitara honkidasu" (storyboarding, directing, and original drawings), and will direct a TV series for the first time. The production will be handled by Studio BIND, the same studio that produced "Shushoku Tensei: Isekai Toretto de Honkidasu" (無職転生～異世界行ったらと本気だす).

As in the original drama CD, Marika Takano will play the role of Mahiro Oyama and Natsuori Ishihara will voice the role of Mihari Oyama. In commemoration of the anime adaptation, the author Neko Tofu, the director Shingo Fujii, and the main cast members have also made official comments on the joy of the anime adaptation.

My name is Shingo Fujii, and I will be directing this project.
When I read this work, I had the impression that it would surely be a good animation work, not only as a daily life story, but also as long as the TS material could be properly depicted in the film. I have also always had a liking for TS stories, and I hope to convey the appeal of the original story and TS stories to the viewers.

This will be my first film as a director, but I hope to keep the atmosphere of the original work and work together with the staff to create a good film.

Mahiro is a girl in body, an older brother in background, and an old man with no sense of humor in his ecology! I'm surprised that I can sympathize with him even though he has a lot of information (laugh).
