New PlayStation Plus service will start on June 1. "PS Plus Premium" to play PS2 and PSP titles, etc!

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has set June 1, 2022 (Wednesday) as the start date for the new PlayStation Plus (PS Plus) subscription game service in Japan.

PS Plus is a subscription service provided by SIE. In March 2022, it was announced that the service will undergo a major renewal. .

The new service will launch in June 2022, integrating PS Plus and PS Now into a new PS Plus service with three levels of plans to choose from.

Price: No change from current PS Plus.
850 yen (including tax) for 1 month / 2,150 yen (including tax) for 3 months / 5,143 yen (including tax) for 12 months

Service details:
The same service content as existing PS Plus, including the following
Free Play (two games can be downloaded each month at no additional cost)
Subscriber-only discounts
Cloud storage of saved data
Online multiplayer

PlayStation Plus Extra
Price: 1,300 yen (including tax) for 1 month / 3,600 yen (including tax) for 3 months / 8,600 yen (including tax) for 12 months

Service details:
All services included in PS Plus Essentials are available.
Hundreds of popular PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 titles are available for download. The lineup includes hit titles from PlayStation Studios and other software makers.

PlayStation Plus Premium
Price: 1,550 yen (tax included) for 1 month / 4,300 yen (tax included) for 3 months / 10,250 yen (tax included) for 12 months

Service contents:
All services included in "PS Plus Essentials" and "PS Plus Extras" are available.

・You can enjoy up to 240 additional titles, including the following
korea PlayStation 3 titles (playable through cloud streaming)
≪Classic titles from the original PlayStation, PlayStation 2, and PSP (PlayStation Portable) (playable through cloud streaming and downloads).

In countries and regions where PS Now service is currently available, titles for the original PlayStation, PS2, PSP and PS4 included in the "PS Plus Extra" and "PS Plus Premium" services will be playable through cloud streaming.
The cloud streaming service is available on PS4, PS5 and PC.
In Japan, the cloud streaming service on PC will be supported by an update at a later date.

Game trials (limited play time) will be available to try out games before purchasing them.
