The 15th episode "The Island of Cruculus Doan" of "Mobile Suit Gundam," the milestone of Japanese robot animation and the origin of Gundam, was broadcast in 1979. The episode, known as a masterpiece among fans, drew fans' attention with its depiction of the melancholy of war through the interaction between the main character, Amuro Ray, and Doan, a deserter from the Zeon army, who is the antagonist.

Directed by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, character designer and animation director of the "Mobile Suit Gundam" TV series and creator of the hit "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin," which has sold over 10 million copies. Other famous staff members have also been assembled.

The video released this time is a special video that not only Gundam fans but also those who are new to Gundam can enjoy.

The video features Kai Siden (cv.#Toshio Furukawa), a member of the White Base crew who is one of the most popular characters in Gundam and also plays a major role in the movie, introducing the TV animation "Mobile Suit Gundam" and "The Island of Cruz Doan," the background of the movie, at super-speed in 63 seconds, in reference to the release date of June 3. The film is introduced in 63 seconds. Along with footage from the time of the broadcast, the film explains the main plot of "Mobile Suit Gundam" and the highlights of the film in a light tempo and in familiar language.

<Story

Amuro and his White Base squadron, preparing for the Odessa Operation, are assigned to a mission to search for remaining counter-intelligence personnel (soldiers who remain in enemy territory to conduct subversive intelligence activities) on an uninhabited island called "Island of No Return". While conducting a search, Amuro encounters a Zaku and is taken prisoner. When Amuro wakes up, he sees a man who calls himself "Cruz Doan" and 20 children.
Can Amuro recover his lost Gundam and reach the secret of the island?
