Character and cast comments

SATO Ichikura (CV. Chiaki Kobayashi)
A 20-year-old sophomore in college. He is a "shameful and remorseful type" who is aware of his screw-ups and wants to cover them up cheerfully. She feels that she lacks individuality, and has recently been having trouble drawing a clear vision for her future. He is not good at socializing with others, but he takes good care of himself.

Q1: What was your impression of this film?
At first, I had the impression that it was like Sentai Heroes.
Each of the cool dudes has their own image color,
I think I got that impression from the way the boys were assembled as the story progressed (laugh).
However, this work depicts a calm and gentle daily life in which no evil organization appears.
It is a work that makes you want to root for the cool doji boys as they grow little by little.

Q2: What is your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role?
Among the cool-guy boys, Satoru is the type of guy who is embarrassed by his own screw-ups and honestly reflects on them.
I got the impression that he is a serious and pure young man.
That's why he sometimes gets depressed because he hates his own screw-ups,
But there are also moments when he is able to take a step forward and is filled with motivation,
I thought his college student-like personality, somewhere between a child and an adult, was very appealing.
I will do my best to express such a life-size character.

Shun Futami (CV: Koki Uchiyama)
He is a 17-year-old high school sophomore. He is a member of the handball club and is always working on his physical strength. He is a "headstrong, stoic type" who refuses to admit when someone points out his screw-ups, saying "It's just a dare. She looks cool but has an honest personality, and is often called "cute" because of this gap between her appearance and her personality, but for her, it is a real minefield.

Q1: What is your impression of this work?
As the title says, there are a lot of screw-ups by the characters, and I was first overwhelmed by the amount of mistakes they made. And since they are quite realistic, I am sure that readers have experienced at least one of them. In addition, it also depicts how new encounters with others and changes in human relationships gradually affect our lives, so it may be interesting to think about it in relation to your own life.

Q2: What is your impression of the character you play and how do you feel about the role?
Shun Futami is a male high school student. He is cool and good at sports, but he is not good at studying. He is also a bit of a screw-up, but he is a stoic type who can cover up such situations with a blank expression. However, people around him know that. When I read the original story, I got the impression that he is basically cool, but during the recording, I was asked to express my emotions and tension in some lines, so I try to show a variety of facial expressions.

Takayuki Mima (CV. Yuichiro Umehara)
He is a 27-year-old office worker. He is an "unaware and painless type" who doesn't seem to feel anything in particular when he screws up. He is serious and uncompromising in his work, but often makes the company feel relaxed with his screw-ups. This makes him the hidden healer in the company. She is currently searching for her own "healing" because of her busy schedule.

<Cast Member's Comment> Q1.
Q1: What is your impression of this film?
It is a glimpse into the daily lives of cool, clumsy boys who seem to exist somewhere.
There are different kinds of cool screw-ups, each with their own ways of screwing up and ways of dealing with them, and I think you can relate to many of them. I hope you will enjoy the work as if you are watching the boys as they go about their daily lives at their own pace and in a positive manner, despite their screw-ups.
The setting of the play is an extension of everyday life, so I think it is a work that can be viewed with ease and not be overawed.

Q2: What is your impression of the character you play and how do you feel about the role?
The character I play, Mima, is a "painless type. Even when I screw up, I don't feel anything and it doesn't linger. I envy him a lot.
Although I screw up a lot, it doesn't mean I can't do my job. Nevertheless, it is hard for me to convey my passion to the outside world. However, he is not a poor communicator.
He is such an elusive person that he may seem like a recluse, but in reality, he is a person who analyzes the words and situations around him and thinks about many things in his head.
I will do my best to play the role while studying his way of life.

■Soshin Shiki (CV. Shoya Chiba)
He is a 19-year-old vocational student with a baby face who is often mistaken for a high school student. He is an "accepting and positive type" with a shallow sense of humor and laughs at his own screw-ups. He is studying design and has many things he wants to do in the future, but he is worried that he does not have the right weapons and has a hard time taking action.

Q1: What is your impression of this film?
I have the impression that it is a relaxed and enjoyable film about cool, screwed-up men going about their ordinary daily lives. The balance between the pace of the characters and the degree to which they are trying their best to live their lives is pleasant, and I found the work to be funny, heartwarming, and gradually energizing. There are many unique characters, but the people around them are generally kind, not to mention the cool-headed boys, so I think this is a work where you can see the good side of yourself, even if you feel negative about yourself.

Q2: What is your impression of the character you play and how do you feel about the role?
Shiki Soma has a shallow sense of humor, and even though he is careless a lot, he is able to laugh rather than be depressed, which is unique to him. I think he has a talent to shorten the distance between people of all ages and both sexes, and I think his friendliness that does not make others nervous is a good point. In particular, I think the aforementioned "ninja laugh" when playing to oneself or communicating with others is an impressive habit from the original work, so I hope I can make a laugh that people will love... The other cast members' performances are very natural and charming, so for my part, I am very honest about it. I am laughing.

<Introduction

Cool and cool boys who stand out from the crowd.
They are somewhat unapproachable, but... they are all "screw-ups"!

They forget their wallets, play music on the train without earphones, lift their glasses despite wearing contacts, stick straws in the wrong direction without realizing they are bendable, carry shoehorns mistaking them for umbrellas, and so on.

Even such screw-ups are cool, and that's what "cool screw-up boys" are all about.

This 15-minute film is a two-court show of their everyday life, in which they try their best in their own way despite their screw-ups!

You will love them if you watch them. You will love this comedy that will make you laugh and heal.
