Motoko and her friends are in Harajuku and Shibuya! Distributing "Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045" x "9box" free paper and selling T-shirts!

New Balance "9box" x "Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045" collaboration items will be released. Many shots of Motoko and her friends wearing the items have been released.

New Balance's "9box" has been expressing "sports x art. Following last year, the second collaboration with "Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045," one of Japan's most popular animations, has been realized.

The unique worldview of "Ghost in the Shell," which fits New Balance's brand platform "Fearlessly Independent," was made into graphics and developed into T-shirts and tote bags. The main character Motoko Kusanagi, the Public Security Section 9 led by her, and the AI tank Tachikoma will appear as completely original items, illustrated by Ilya Kubushinobu.

The items will go on sale at select New Balance official stores, New Balance official online stores, and ABC Mart GrandStage online store from May 10 (Tue).

Motoko and her friends look cool! Free paper distributed nationwide from April 30
To celebrate the release of the 9box collection, a fashion shoot in collaboration with "Rolling Stone Japan" magazine has been realized. Elements descended on Harajuku and Shibuya, where the flagship stores of New Balance are located, to show us their cool looks that match the urban nightlife.

Motoko and her AI tank Tachikoma pose in front of New Balance Harajuku on the cover of the free paper containing the fashion shoot. The original "Public Security Section 9 x 9box" T-shirt was the main feature of their cool coordination.

Motoko and Public Security Section 9, who normally wear combat or military uniforms, look stylish in casual yet sporty New Balance T-shirts, and are well worth a look, even if you are not a fan. In Shibuya, which has been transformed by redevelopment, the Public Security Section 9 members wear apparel collections such as "9box" and "MET24" in the impressive cityscape, including the symbolic night scene of Miyashita Park, fashion buildings in Harajuku that evoke the near future, and under the elevated railway tracks in Shibuya.

The free paper containing the fashion shoot will be distributed at TSUTAYA RECORDS stores nationwide from April 30 (Sat). For details of distribution stores, please check Rolling Stone Japan WEB.

New Balance official stores will distribute the paper from May 10 (Tue.). At the official New Balance online store, the present will be given to those who purchase "Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 9box".

Some stores do not carry this item.
