New Anime "Utawarerumono: Two White Emperors" 1st PV and additional cast revealed!

The main visual, first PV, additional characters and cast, and theme song information for "Utawarerumono: Two White Emperors," which will begin airing in July 2022, have been released.

The "Utawareru Mono" series, one of AQUA PLUS' flagship titles, has gained worldwide popularity for its unique worldview and epic storyline spun in a Japanese style. The series was adapted into a TV anime in 2006, depicting a war-torn world from the perspective of a young man, Hakuro, who has lost his memory and arrives in a village where various races live. This work is the final chapter of the series.

The TV anime "Utawareru Mono: Two White Emperors" will air on TOKYO MX, BS11, and other networks from July 2022 for a total of 28 episodes. The first two episodes will be aired consecutively.

The main visual released today shows Oshtol (Haku) and Ange holding weapons, giving a sense of great warfare. The first PV depicts the situation of Yamato in turmoil following the fall of the emperor and Ange's assassination attempt.

Enna Kamui's army stands up to protect Ange, the Yamato army led by Raikou confronts this, and Tuskul ...... who sees the confusion, opens a war involving the entire Yamato land!

＜Synopsis.
I'm counting on you, Anne-chan.
The upheaval in Yamato began with the fall of the emperor.
Oshtor, a general of the right personal guard, is hunted for the alleged attempted poisoning of Ange, the Princess of Yamato.
After the battle, he exhausted the power of his mask, "Akurka," and his body and soul became part of the world.
As they parted, he entrusted the future of Ange and Nekone to his friend Haku.

Haku, who was entrusted with the mask and will by Oshtol, chose to give up his life as Haku, disguise his true identity, and live as Oshtol with the mask.

Then Ange, who has escaped to Ennakamui and is showing signs of recovery, stands up to reclaim the position of imperial princess left to her by her father, the emperor.

Meanwhile, in Yamato, the eight-pillar general Raikou takes advantage of the chaos to establish a false imperial princess and take control of the country.
Soon the invasion of the Yamato army reaches Ennakamui to eliminate the real princess and .......
The curtain rises on a war that will engulf the entire Yamato region.

This is the final chapter of the "Utawarerumono" series.

Lurutier will be played by Ai Kakuma, Atui by Yumi Hara, Nosuri by Mochi Yamamoto, Augi by Takahiro Sakurai, Uluru/Salana by Ayane Sakura, Kiulu by Ayumi Murase, Yakutwalt by Takuya Eguchi, Sinonon by Misaki Kuno, Munetika by Saori Hayami, and Humilir by Yuko Gitake.

The theme song is sung by Suara, who has sung many theme songs for the "Utawarerumono" series. The opening theme song will be titled "Hito na nada" and the ending theme song will be titled "Hyakkaikusa.
