Pokemon Legends: Arceus" will be animated by Koki Uchiyama and WIT STUDIO! Yukinokkishiki Niran" will be available on the web from May 18.

Three episodes of the original web animation "Yukinokishiki Futaai" (Snow Unraveling Two Ai) will be released in May for the Nintendo Switch software "Pokémon LEGENDS Arceus".

Pokémon LEGENDS Arceus " is a work that challenges the expression of the new "Pokémon" series, combining action and RPG. Set in the Shin-Ou region, it depicts a time long before "Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.

Pokémon Legends Arceus" will be made into a 3-episode web animation by WIT STUDIO. It is titled "Yukinokushiki Futaai" (Snow Unwrapping Two Ai) and will depict an original story set in the Jade Region.
The first episode will be released on May 18 (Wed.) at 10:00 p.m. on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.

The cast has also been determined. Koki Uchiyama will play Akio as a young man, Rie Kugimiya will play Akio as a child, and Rikiya Koyama will play Akio's father.

<Story
A long time ago, when there was still a gap between people and Pokémon.
On a ship bound for the Jade Region, Akio recalls the first time his father took him to this place.
People and Pokemon cannot live together.
That is what Akio was taught by his father as a young boy.
Then, in a forest covered with deep snow, Akio met a Zoroa in the form of a jade.
Can't people and Pokémon really live together?

Koki Uchiyama
In this work, the way humans think about Pokémon and the relationship between Pokémon and humans are very different from what I am familiar with, so I was excited to see what kind of worldview the anime would have. The character I played, Akio, is not swayed by the opinions of the majority, but rather he draws on his past experiences and tries to stand up for what he believes in. I hope it will be a great film that will remain in everyone's hearts. I hope you will enjoy it.

Rie Kugimiya
When I received the offer to work on this film, I was excited to see who I would be working with, Pokémon or humans. I was looking forward to it with excitement. I feel that the main character, Akio, is a curious, honest, and straightforward person. I hope many people will enjoy this story of Akio and Zoroa's encounter!
