Seiken Densetsu Legend of Mana -The Teardrop Crystal-", an anime that will be broadcast and distributed on TV in 2022, has announced a teaser PV, character and cast information, and staff information.

Seiken Densetsu Legend Legend of Mana" was released in 1999 as the fourth title in Square Enix's "Seiken Densetsu" series. The picture-book-like graphics and fantastic music made it one of the most popular in the series, and a remastered version was released in 2021.
The animation is directed by Masato Jimbo ("The Rise of the Shield's Hero: Season 2," etc.) and features music by Yoko Shimomura, who is also known for "The Legend of the Holy Sword: Legend of Mana" and "Kingdom Hearts" series.

The key visual released this time was drawn by Taro Ikegami, character designer. The key visual depicts the main characters and gives a sense of the tale of the tribe of Tamaki.

Shilo, a boy who lives near the town of Domina, begins to hear mysterious voices in his dreams.

The main character of the film, a boy who lives near the town of Domina. He is kind-hearted, has a strong sense of justice, and is a caring person. When he meets Ruri and Princess Pearl, he becomes involved in a case involving Pearl Charm.

Q1: How did you feel when you were cast?
I was very happy. Even before I became a voice actor, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to fulfill my dream of being in something I have loved since I was a child. I had vaguely thought that I would never have such an opportunity again, but I guess life is not yet complete. Thanks to you, I will be able to live with hope for many things in the future.

Q2: Do you have any comments for the fans who are looking forward to the film?
I am really looking forward to seeing the deep and royal scenario of the original game in the anime.
It would be great if we could make the anime even better, get everyone's support, and even make it so exciting that we could do the entire main scenario of the original game, each episode, and even the lost scenario of the Sirens' Arc in the anime.

Ruri (CV. Yuichiro Umehara)
A knight of pearl enchantment with lapis lazuli at his core. He continues to travel with his partner, Princess Pearl. He cares for Princess Pearl so much that he often becomes overly passionate.

Q1: How did you feel when you were chosen to play the role?
I am very happy to be involved in this historical work.
The fact that it is being made into an anime makes me feel even closer to the characters, and above all, I am happy to be able to reprise the role I played several years ago.
It is both a challenge and an enjoyment to see how I can express the youthfulness that was life-size at the time.

Pearl Princess (CV: Kaori Nazuka)
A princess of pearl charms whose core is a white pearl. She has a calm and gentle personality, and she calls Shilo "Oniisama" (literally, "one man's daughter"). She easily gets lost.

I'm sorry to say that I am not a video game fan and have never played any video games, but I was very happy to have the opportunity to play a role in a historical work.
