The latest bullet train "ALFA-X" appears in "Shinkarion Z"! I tried to make the "Z-formation Shinkarion Z ALFA-X" combine with the "Z-formation Shinkarion Z ALFA-X"! Toys and Games by Taiyuki No. 18

The most robot-loving voice actor in the voice-over industry, Yasuyuki Tai, has been playing around with the latest toys and hobbies in this popular series!

This time! As the name suggests, the toys in the "Shinkansen Transformable Robot Shinkarion Z" series have continued to evolve as well!

The TV anime of "Shinkarion Z" was on air until March, but this time, Alpha-X is an original toy robot that did not appear in the anime, so I'm going to play with it with a lot of enthusiasm and review it here: ...... I'd like to play with it and review it.

First, let's start with the package draft.

The silver and light green body looks mature, cool, or just plain cool~!
The wide-open wings and the light-emitting equipment are also very interesting.

On the back of the figure, there is information about the gimmick of this product and how to play with other "Shinkarion Z" series figures. It makes you want to play with them all together!

On both sides are illustrations of the set contents and the Alpha-X vehicle. The shape is sharp.

The top, bottom, and lid are all designed the same way, with the name of the product and other information packed into a compact area.

When the blister is removed from the box, it fits together like this.

Since the product has evolved into something that allows you to enjoy the "combining" element even more than the initial Plarail Shinkarion series, the parts are divided into many parts, but since the target age is "3 years and up," the configuration seems to have been carefully designed not to be overly complicated. Exquisite balance!

In addition, weapons and dolly parts were included in the bag.

First, let's combine these parts to turn Alpha-X into "Shinkansen Test Car E956 (ALFA-X).

Let's play in Shinkansen mode!

First, let's transform the body of the first car. The head and abdomen are stored in the blister, and the chest cover is closed.
All locks are tight.

Next, combine arms A and B of the first car on the left and right sides, and connect them to the joints at the rear of the body.

This is pretty much all that is needed to make it look like a vehicle. ......

The first car is completed by attaching the bottom of the body, bogie B on the front side and bogie A on the rear side.

The image of "ALFA-X" is reproduced perfectly. The body shape, body color, and the green line ...... have been deformed in a way that only Plarail, which has sent out countless items in the past, can do, and this time, too, the deformation has been beautifully demonstrated.

Although the front and rear lengths have been rearranged compared to the real thing, the side view is still recognizable as "ALFA-X" at a glance. The "ALFA-X" mark is also printed on it.

From the back, the model looks a little more like a science fiction mecha. The jet nozzle-like detail burns. Of course, the couplers are the same as the ones on the regular plastic railcars, so you can combine them and play with them.

Next, the second car. It consists of these three parts.

Attach the clear green "X-Mask" to the inside of the second car cover. ......

Cover the second car chassis and the second car is completed.

The ceiling pattern is reproduced by stickers. The equipment will be mounted on this car.

This is a block with a backpack and X-Cannon.

This block combines two X Spears, Great X Sword, and Alpha Blaster.

Each block is attached to the hole in the square window area of the second car to complete the project.

And the third car. It consists mainly of lower body parts.

The third car waist part is combined with the third car foot A and B, and the third car cover A and B to wrap around the third car waist part.

Once assembled, attach Car B and Car C to the bottom of the car as for the first car.

The design is different from the first car.

The rear of this car is also detailed and seamless.

When all three cars are connected, it looks like this.

The second car's equipment block looks sci-fi.

If you remove the equipment of the second car, it is just a regular plastic railcar! There are no power cars, so it can only be rolled around, but it can be played as a plastic rail in this state.

Transforms into Shinkarion mode!

Now, let's transform it from Shinkansen mode to Shinkarion mode, just like Shinkarion!

The arms of the first car are deployed to form both arms.

The arms are locked securely in place, and the arm armor slides, creating a simple yet elaborate gimmick for movement.

Of course, the paint scheme is also excellent.

Return the first car body to its initial state and attach the arm parts to the connecting joints located around the side of the head.

This completes the upper body. It's easy, isn't it?

Disassemble the third car back to the first state.

For the third car foot parts, expand the rear and side panels to form the legs from the knees down.

This is what it looks like when standing up. Connect the 3rd waist parts to this.

Don't forget to raise the front panels of the third waist to complete the transformation of the lower body!

Connect the completed upper and lower body with the pentagonal joints!

Next to the main body is the equipment.

Attach the X-Spear to the outside of both arms.

In the left hand, let it hold the Alpha X Cannon, a combination of the X Cannon and Alpha Blaster. ......

On the right hand, let him hold the Great X Sword.

Attach the backpack, which is one part but rich in detail, to the back.

Attach the covers of the third car's eyes like wings,

Shinkarion mode is complete!
I did not feel any of the "complexity" or "fragility of joints" that are common in transformable toys, and was able to comfortably transform and combine the figures.

Rear view. The overscaled wings extending from the slender body are also very dynamic!
Together with the spread legs, you can see that the figure also has an "X" silhouette. The shape must have been carefully calculated.

The range of motion is also excellent.

The head is probably connected with a ball joint. In addition to vertical and horizontal tilting, the head can also be turned to the side to some extent.

The arms can be raised horizontally to some extent, and can also be raised up by rotating the shoulder axis.

Roll rotation with two arms. In addition, roll rotation is possible with the wrists. The elbows can be bent quite deeply.

Shoulder armor can be lowered by unlocking it.

The waist can rotate 360°.

Legs are movable in front, back, left, and right, and can be extended.

Rolls and rotates on the thighs. Knees are double-jointed and can be bent deeply.

Plates on the sides of the legs can be moved to some extent like stabilizers to suit posing.

The ankles are connected with ball joints, which are quite strong to hold them in place. The toes can also be lifted thanks to the deformation gimmick. The installation is quite easy.

Wings can be swung up and down at the connection. They can also be seen in a retracted state when lowered.

Let's take a look at this excellent mobility and abundant equipment, and let's pose it.

Let's start with Alpha-X holding the X Spear.

Since the X-Spear is a slender spear, I decided to pose it in a smart pose with the legs slightly lowered backward.

Pose with a quick slash from the bottom to the top. It stands on its own in this posture.

The Spear can also be rotated and turned backwards to look like it is in a stowed position.

It can also be held in both hands. This pose is like handling a kunai with both held in opposite hands.

The spear can also be mounted on the axis of the backpack.

Next is the Great X Sword. This sword has a thicker blade.

The handle and blade are separate parts, which is gorgeous. The clear blade is refreshing.

The pose also makes use of the movable toe. The fact that the sword can stand on its own shows the high holding power of its parts.

Next is the shooting equipment. Alpha-X cannon.

It looks like a double cannon, but there are four blasters under the cannon! The power of a single shot seems to be large.

It is not included in the instruction manual, and it is quite difficult to balance it, but you can do a "roller dash" by attaching the cart to the sole of your foot like roller skates.
Be careful not to tip over.

The Alpha-X by itself is quite fun to play with, but the review is still in its infancy.
From here, we will try the "Z Combination," which can be played by combining it with the separately sold Shinkarion Z and Zyliner, as shown on the back of the package!
