Plastic models of "Kikou Genesis Mospida" (1983) are not easy to handle. This is because only two types of mecha were released for the allied side, despite the fact that they were developed simultaneously by three different companies: IMAI, L.S., and Gakken. To put it this way, there are only two types of mecha on the allied side: Ride Armor (the Mospeeder, which is the title of the series, is one of these mecha) and Legios, which transforms from a fighter to a robot. Among the Ride Armor, there are kits that can transform from a motorcycle, and there are also non-transforming types with slightly different shapes, and Legios is also quite subdivided, with variable kits and types with different heads and colors ....... And yet, when you look at them for a moment, you may find yourself asking, "What's the difference?" Why are the colors different? and "Why are the colors different?
The kit featured in this issue is the "Legios Armor Diver Eta" manufactured by IMAI. As Shinji Aramaki, who designed the kit, has said in a past interview, "It's just a follow-up to the Valkyrie" ( # ), it is in the process of transforming from a robot form to a fighter form, a gowalk form as in the Valkyrie from "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross".

There is no way that such sharply molded parts can produce an uncool plastic model. No, I feel uneasy if I assert that much. In such a case, there is always one option. All you have to do is to detach the parts and assemble them!
