It has been 25 years since "Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers," a popular spin-off of the "Shin Megami Tensei" series mixed with a science fiction worldview, was released.
Soul Hackers 2" inherits the genes from the "Devil Summoner" series and "Soul Hackers," while evolving a new story of people and technology based on a concept that has evolved over a quarter of a century.

The main character Ringo, a member of the new life form Aion, joins forces with Devil Summoners to avert the destruction of the world.
Using the Devil Summoner's exclusive gadget, COMP, Ringo summons demons to wipe out his enemies!
In the secret city of Realm, invisible to the general public, there are facilities where you can combine demons and modify COMPs.
Deepen your bonds with your fellow Summoners by interacting with them in bars and hideouts, and sometimes by going on vision quests that allow you to relive their past.

Enemy Symbols and Slashing
In the dungeon, red enemy symbols roam around. When they become aware of your presence, they will attack you, and if you make contact with them, you may be at a disadvantage in a battle, such as a preemptive attack by the enemy. Slash at the enemy symbols with the apple sword.
By slashing at the enemy to down the enemy and starting the battle, you can fight to your advantage. You can also avoid the battle itself by passing by a downed enemy symbol.

Bonus Attack
When starting a battle with a slashed enemy, a bonus attack occurs with a probability. At the start of the battle, all allies will perform a general attack, allowing the player to start the battle with an advantage. There are also skills that increase the rate of Bonus Attack, so use them well.

When the player enters a dungeon, the demons are dispersed throughout the dungeon by the command of Ringo, and begin searching for demons. You will meet them again throughout the dungeon, and they will help you find items and restore your strength. This is an advantageous way to advance in the adventure, so be proactive in your search and call out to the demons when you see them.

Negotiating and Contracting with Demons
While searching for demons, the demon seekers will sometimes introduce you to enemy demons that appear in the dungeon. By negotiating with enemy demons, you can make a contract with them and make them your matchmaker. The demon's skills can be used by equipping it to a COMP. The equipped person's parameters also change, so switch them out depending on the situation.
