The synopsis and advance scene cuts for the fifth episode of the fourth series of "Kingdom," which airs every Saturday, have been released.

Kingdom" (written by Yasuhisa Hara) is a Chinese Warring States epic romance about a boy, Nobu (CV: Seiichi Morita), who aims to become a great general under the heaven, and a young king, Yosei (CV: Jun Fukuyama), who later becomes the first emperor of Japan. The second live-action movie will be released in the summer of 2022.

The synopsis and advance scene cuts of the 5th episode of the TV anime, which will be aired on May 7 (Sat) at 24:00 on NHK Sogo, have been released.

Episode 5 "Sword and Shield"
Shin, together with Qiang Xiang and other members of the Hishintai, searches for the place where Seiryu and Rui are thought to be being held captive. However, the situation in Tunrujon is in a state of confusion, and they cannot find Chengchi or even Gaman, the ringleader of the rebellion.
Meanwhile, Sei蟜, deeply wounded in a battle with the rebels, asks Rui, whom he rescued, to bring him reinforcements, and stays there to fight back against Gamayi and his pursuers. Rui runs to bring reinforcements back to Cheng'e and the flying squad entrusted with his rescue. Can they save Chengchi and return to the capital together?

Blu-ray Box Information
The Blu-ray box set of "The Seiryeon Incident" is scheduled to be released on August 26, 2022, "The Battle of Yongkong" on September 23, 2022, and "The Rebellion in Yongkong" on November 25, 2022.
