KJ File," a new anime by the staff of "Yami Shiba," will start airing in July! Comments from Kiyoshi Kobayashi and others have arrived!

The original TV anime "KJ File" will be broadcast from July 2022.

The horror anime "Yami Shibai" has become an urban legend as a "picture-story horror show that suddenly starts late at night on Teletext". KJ File" is a new original TV animation that challenges a new approach by inviting up-and-coming creators around the production team of "KJ File" and using the storyboard animation technique that has been cultivated over many years.

The creators, all of whom love monsters, have created a number of original monsters, which are introduced through illustrations with a retro Showa-era touch and a theme song written for each monster. This new program, which can be enjoyed by both children and adults, will be broadcast on TV Tokyo from July 2022.

The voice cast includes Motomu Kiyokawa, Kazunari Ninomata, Koji Imai, Masayuki Oshita, and Kiyoshi Kobayashi. The film will also be performed by Kaori Fukumori, Nahi Sora Nene, and a variety of other members.

<Synopsis
Since the beginning of the 20th century, unique monsters have suddenly begun to appear in various parts of the world. At first, mankind tried to resist them, but in the face of their immense power, they came to the conclusion that complete extermination was impossible, and gathered their wisdom to monitor and analyze the monsters.
The United Nations Monster Observation Mission (commonly known as "Coulons") was born. The UN Kaiju Monitoring Team (a.k.a. Coulons) was born, headed by the indefatigable leader Yuichiro Kaido, Secretary General of the UN Kaiju Monitoring Team, and including Maru Choji Kobayashi, an authority on monster ecology; Claire Coleman, a brilliant scientist in monster functional analysis; Kenny Mikoshiba, a heretic in monster disaster prevention studies; Nikita Tarkowski, a noblewoman in anti-monster strategy studies; Lulu de Picard, a new-generation scientist who paved the way in monster linguistics; and Guillermo M. Muller, a leading figure in monster Guillermo Marquez, a leading figure in life science.
These experts in monster science monitor and analyze hundreds of monsters and continue to search for a world where monsters and humans can live together.

A team of creators with a deep knowledge of monsters
The script is written by Hirotake Kumamoto, Mitsugaku Sasaki, and Kanako Ishigami, who have worked on many "Yami Shiba" series. In addition, special effects puppet theater director Takashi Iizuka will participate in both scriptwriting and drawing.

Animation is by monster designers Shinji Nishikawa, Hideo Okamoto, and Masaru Ebihara, as well as illustrators Mitsuko Furuya and jimmy, and TV Tokyo's Norio Yamakawa. The production will be directed by Akira Funada, who has been creating the "Yami Shiba" series for a long time.

■Attention to the original monster theme song.

The theme song for the monsters in the program is composed by Tomoki Kikutani, who has composed many popular songs in the past. Inc/ARCANA PROJECT, as well as other talented singers such as Hanana Hoshizaki, Nobuhiko Kashihara, and Kota Okamoto.

The ending theme is "Kaiju Fire," a new song by the rock band "Kazuki Yamasakari," an Osaka-based Naniwa cosmetic punk band that has been active in the live scene. The band, who themselves are monster lovers, wrote this song in conjunction with "KJ File.

Comments from Kiyoshi Kobayashi, who plays the role of Dr. Guillermo Marquez, Shinji Nishikawa, the monster designer, and Aozora Sorano of Denpa Gumi Inc/ARCANA PROJECT have also arrived (original text only).

Kiyoshi Kobayashi as Dr. Guillermo Marquez
My name is Kiyoshi Kobayashi.
I play the role of Dr. Guillermo Marquez, a "monster," but even a "monster" has a cute side to it.
But there is also a tough side to him.
I am sure that everyone will understand what a cute "monster" I am.
I look forward to working with you in the future.

Monster Designer: Shinji Nishikawa
Monster" has become a concept that is shared around the world.
I think there is still a lot of potential in their design, but there are not many opportunities to create them, whether for special effects or computer graphics, as they are costly characters to visualize. This time, we have created a number of new monsters that are simple in their expression through picture-story animation, but full-fledged in terms of design.
I hope that people will enjoy the fun of monsters in a slightly more relaxed and broadly enjoyable way.

▲Aozora Sorano (Denpagumi.inc/ARCANA PROJECT)
I will be singing the theme song for the unique monsters in the TV anime "KJ File! I'm Aozora Sorano, a.k.a. Ao-nyan from Denpagumi Inc and ARCANA PROJECT.
I had never had the chance to interact with monsters until I came across "KJ File," but as I sang the song, I quickly became emotionally involved! Now I can't help but think of the monsters as my own children.
There are many different kinds of monsters, some terrifying, some cute, and some just plain weird. This is sure to be a wonderful anime that will help all humans learn more about monsters.
You may even find yourself a monster doctor...!
