A special trailer and scene cuts have been released from Makoto Shinkai's new film "Suzume no tojikomari," which will be released on November 11, 2022 on a nationwide roadshow.

Released in 2016, "Kimi no na wa. and "Weather Child," which will be released in 2019, "Suzume no tojimari" is the latest work by director Makoto Shinkai after three years. As soon as the film was unveiled at the production announcement conference last December, it attracted a lot of attention from the international media.


Suzume no tojimari" is a modern adventure story about a young girl, Suzume, who closes "doors" that lead to disasters, and her liberation and growth in life, set in abandoned places around Japan. The story of Suzume, who moves forward despite the unfamiliar landscapes, encounters and partings with people, surprises and difficulties, brings a ray of light to our daily journeys, where we live side by side with anxiety and inconvenience.
