On January 2, Natsumi, the comic monster, proposes to Tadano, "Let's go on a Hatsumode (New Year's visit)! Tadano-kun suggests, "Let's go on a Hatsumode! While Tadano insists that everyone else has already gone to Hatsumode on New Year's Day, the girl makes a bunch of phone calls to her friends, and on the other end of the line she finds everyone having a different New Year's Day...

Katai-kun has come up with the perfect date plan with Tadano-kun. He tries his best to ask her out over the phone, but he is too nervous to speak well.
Somehow, he manages to explain to her that he would prefer two people, but they all go ice skating together. When they get to the ice skating rink, Katai-kun realizes that he can't skate..!
