Small but Superb Spatial Expression! Imaginary Special Effects Diorama: Shin Ultraman Edition" will go on sale in mid-May 2022!

MegaHouse will release a new product in its "Petit Llama" series of diorama collection figures, "Imaginary Special Effects Diorama: Shin Ultraman Version," in mid-May 2022. They will be priced at 990 yen each (tax included).

The " Ultraman " character, which has been broadcast in more than 100 regions overseas since its first broadcast in 1966 (Showa 41), is still very popular and representative of Japan. The film is planned and written by Hideaki Anno, who himself professes to be a fan of the Ultraman series.

The film will be directed by Shinji Higuchi, a close friend of Anno's who has worked with Anno on numerous masterpieces including "Neon Genesis Evangelion. The powerful production team, which won seven major awards at the 40th Japan Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director for the blockbuster "Shin Godzilla" (2004), which shocked all of Japan, is now fully prepared to take on this new fantastical special effects film.
The powerful production team will be joined by a superb cast of actors.

The "Petit Llama" series is a series of diorama collection figures with a height of approximately 60-95mm, focusing on "attractiveness" and "detailed modeling. The figures are just the right size for any location, and feature famous scenes from popular works both in Japan and abroad.

The "Imaginary Special Effects Diorama: Shin Ultraman Version" figures will feature two Ultraman scenes from the "Shin Ultraman" movie and a special trailer for the 2021 release, as well as the giant unknown creatures "Kaiju" Gabora and Neronga. The lineup consists of four different figures: "Ultraman: Arrival", "Ultraman: Battle", "Gabora: Advancing", and "Neronga: Roaring".

Although the figures are small, measuring less than 95mm in height, they are reproduced with superb spatial expressions.

The "Shin Ultraman" movie world can be enjoyed on a tabletop.
