Capture the latest Gundam "Witch of Mercury" Gunpla at the Hobby Show! Check out the Gundam of the new era! The 60th Shizuoka Hobby Show

The 60th Shizuoka Hobby Show is being held at Twinmesse Shizuoka in Shizuoka Prefecture from May 11 (Wed) to 15 (Sun), 2022.

This event is one of the largest model and hobby events in Japan, held annually in Shizuoka Prefecture, where many model manufacturers gather. This year, a total of 80 companies + 2 organizations are exhibiting.

This year, the 11th and 12th are vendor invitation days, and the 13th is an invitation day for local elementary, junior high, and high school students to familiarize themselves with the modeling culture. The 14th and 15th are open to the public.
Akiba Research Institute visited the site on the 11th. We visited the booths on the 11th and covered the event.

The first feature article is a summary of the "Mobile Suit Gundam: Witch of Mercury" plastic model on display at the Bandai Spirits booth, which is sure to be of interest to many people.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Witch of Mercury" is the latest in the Gundam series scheduled to begin airing on TV in the fall of 2022. The first female protagonist in the series will appear, and there are high expectations for an unprecedented story.

The plastic models of the main mobile suit "Gundam Aerial" and other mecha have also been unveiled!

We can't wait to assemble and play with them!
