The 60th Shizuoka Hobby Show is being held at Twinmesse Shizuoka in Shizuoka Prefecture from May 11 (Wed) to 15 (Sun), 2022.

This event is one of the largest model and hobby events in Japan, held annually in Shizuoka Prefecture, where many model manufacturers gather. This year, a total of 80 companies + 2 organizations are exhibiting.

This year, the 11th and 12th are vendor invitation days, and the 13th is an invitation day for local elementary, junior high, and high school students to familiarize themselves with the modeling culture. The 14th and 15th are open to the public.

At the Good Smile Company booth, MODEROID kits of the legendary anime "Bren Powered," which was the first WOWOW original anime broadcast in 1998, were presented all at once.
This work, which director Yoshiyuki Tomino, known for "Mobile Suit Gundam" and other works, said was his second debut work, is a work that has had almost no commercial development in the form of three-dimensional products. Many visitors were surprised and pleased by the sudden announcement.
In fact, the project itself had been in the works since the launch of MODEROID, and now it has been announced with great anticipation.
The product will go on sale this fall.
