Wonder Festival 2022 [Summer]," one of the world's largest sculpture and figure festivals, will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture on Sunday, July 24, 2022.

Wonder Festival is one of the world's largest sculpture and figure festivals, now in its 37th year. Prior to the opening of the festival, a special website was opened to the public and a key visual with a summer festival theme created by popular illustrator Toshinao Aoki was also unveiled.


The special site and key visual, which have been redesigned for summer, will go on sale on Monday, May 16, 2022, and early bird and U22 discount tickets will also go on sale.

Wonder Festival 2022 [Summer] is still in the midst of the Corona Disaster. 2022 February, after three cancellations, we managed to hold the real event at Makuhari Messe. However, approximately 50% of the corporate dealers and 20% of the general dealers cancelled, and the number of participants, which used to be around 50,000, was down to 13,000, which was quiet and lonely. This meant that we were able to take our time and see the works of many general dealers, and it was a great experience for us to reconfirm Wonder Festival's origins as a manufacturing event.
We are now preparing for Wonder Festival 2022 [Summer], but as of mid-May, we still have no idea what will happen on the day of the event. Wonder Festival
Wonder Festival is one of the world's largest figure and modeling festivals, now in its 37th year, and has been held at Makuhari Messe since the summer of 2009. It has become a major event that attracts great interest not only from domestic but also from overseas fans. In 2018, "Wonder Festival 2018 Shanghai [Prestige]" will be held for the first time in Wonder Festival's history, and overseas users' interest in figures has been increasing more and more.
