A TV anime adaptation of the popular manga "The Recently Hired Maid is Suspicious" is set to begin airing in July 2022 on the 24-nation ABC and TV Asahi network "ANiMAZiNG! frame of ABC TV and TV Asahi network 24 stations nationwide from July 2022.

Recently hired maids are suspicious" will be adapted from "Jahee-sama wa Kujikunai! is a manga serialized in the monthly magazine "GUNGAN JOKER" by Kombu Wakame, whose work has also been adapted into an anime. It is a love comedy about a teasing maid and an unaware, reckless boy.

It has been decided that a TV anime will be broadcast from July 2022. The key visual, teaser PV, character and cast comments, and main staff have been revealed.

The key visual depicts Yuri, the owner of the house, who peeks in on Lilith as "suspicious," and the somewhat "suspicious" maid Lilith. In the teaser PV, Lilith suddenly comes to Yuri, who lives alone in the mansion left by her parents, asking to be hired.

Yuri, the owner of a small country mansion, is investigating the identity of Lilith, a maid who suddenly appears.
Her identity and purpose are unknown, but she works unnaturally hard, cooks and washes clothes to a frightening degree of perfection. And with those absorbing purple eyes, Lilith must be up to something.

Lilith must be up to something, and she is so suspicious, so suspicious that Yuri is having trouble getting anything done. ......

This is the story of one lonely boy and a suspicious maid who suddenly appears, and little by little, they develop a bond.

Q1: What is your impression of this film?
Although the title says "suspicious," I thought it was basically a friendly and funny film. There are many comical scenes in the book, which makes it enjoyable to read, and I am also interested in the underlying slightly mysterious aspects.
At the beginning of the recording session, the director told us that he wanted to make the work warm and heartfelt. I myself am looking forward to seeing how the interaction between Yuri and Lilith and the atmosphere of the house where the story takes place will turn out on film.

Q2: What is your impression of the character you are playing and how enthusiastic are you about the role?
He is a dazzlingly honest and pure young boy. His struggle to uncover Lilith's secret is adorable, and his straightforward words are charming because he is unaware of his actions. He lives alone in the mansion and is lonely at times, but his attempts to be a good master are very healthy and I wanted to cheer him up.
In the beginning of the story, Lilith and I have a lot of interaction with each other, so I would like to weave the bond between Yuri and Lilith while working closely with Riyo Takahashi!

A mysterious maid who suddenly appears in front of Yuri one day. She has jet-black hair, brown skin, and absorbing purple eyes.
She does not like to talk about herself much and tends to keep secrets, which makes Yuri very suspicious of her.

Q1: What is your impression of this work?
First of all, the pictures and expressions are just adorable!
Lilith's eyes are drawn in deep purple in every frame, which I found suspiciously cute and impressive.
And the interaction between the two is so cute that you can't help but smile just by looking at it.
I am also writhing at the way the little boy chooses words that are too straight.
I would like to watch over this warm daily life forever and be smitten by both Lilith and Bokkama.

Q2: What is your impression of the character you are playing and how do you feel about the role?
Lilith has a gap between the moment she attacks Bokachama and her shy reaction,
Lilith has a gap between the moment when she attacks the little boy and the reaction when she is embarrassed, which I find attractive.
Both of her facial expressions, gestures, and embarrassment are exquisitely different each time, even in repeated dialogue,
I hope that I can always deliver something fresh even in the midst of repetitive dialogue.
Also, I personally love spending time with Saori Hayami who plays Yuri,
I look forward to every recording session.
