Airing Tonight! New chapter visuals, characters, and trailer for "The Rise of the Shield Season 2!

The TV anime "Rise of the Shield Brave Riders Season 2" enters a new chapter starting with episode 7 on Wednesday, May 18. New visuals, new characters, synopsis and trailer have been released.

Shield no Yusha no Norikakeru" is a popular novel by Aneko Yusagi that was first published on the novel submission site "Shosetsu-kaerou" (Novelist's Letter) and later published in book form by MF Books. The first season of the TV anime aired from January 2019.

Season 2", currently airing on TOKYO MX and other stations, will enter a new chapter starting from episode 7 on May 18 (Wed). The visual released shows Shobun and his team challenging Kyou, who showed his overwhelming power in the battle of Reikame. Expectations are high for the future development.

A new character, Kizuna Kazayama, played by Mimyu Tomita, has also been introduced. Please check out the synopsis and preview of episode 7 as well as the new video to see how she will play her role.

Episode 7 "Infinite Labyrinth
When Shobun wakes up in a strange prison, everyone is level 1 and he has lost track of Firo. Shobun tries to raise his level while searching for a way to escape. However, he is in great difficulty when a demon suddenly appears.

＜Introduction＞
Naofumi Iwatani, an ordinary college student, is summoned to another world as one of the Four Sacred Heroes, "The Hero of the Shield".

However, in the Land of the Reigame, located to the east of Merlomarck, it was confirmed that the Reigame, a monster that brings about unprecedented disasters, had returned.
Shobun receives a request from the Queen to defeat the Reiki, and heads for Reiki with his new companion Licia.
While the allied forces are assembling, Shouwen is suddenly confronted by Ost-Houli, the regent and wife of the King of Linggui Kingdom.
