The special program #3, which includes scenes selected by the original author, Hiromu Arakawa, and a "W-Ed" conversation between voice actors Hiromi Park and Ryosuke Yamada, has been released.
Fullmetal Alchemist" was first serialized in "Shonen Gangan" in 2001 and has been animated twice. The first live-action movie was a hit, grossing approximately 1.2 billion yen. This sequel, the final part of the series, is a two-part work, "Fullmetal Alchemist: The Final Part - Scar the Revenger" and "Fullmetal Alchemist: The Final Part - The Last Alchemy", which depicts the final episode of the original inspiring story.
⇒Mustang and Lieutenant Hawkeye are also featured! Fullmetal Alchemist: The Complete Works" trailer featuring a total of 15 characters is now available! Roadshow on May 20!
Today, before the release of "Avenger Scar" tomorrow, "#3 MESSAGE" from the special program "Fullmetal Alchemist" PERFECT GUIDE, which is being distributed 5 times, has been released. The narration is by Kanata Hongo, who plays Envy in the live-action version.
In #3, you can see a message from the original author, Mr. Hiroshi Arakawa, who saw the film ahead of others, his top 3 highlights of "Avenger Scar," and a scene where Ms. Park and Mr. Ryosuke Yamada exchange words at the original art exhibition.
■ "Fullmetal Alchemist" PERFECT GUIDE #3 MESSAGE
After seeing the previous work, Mr. Arakawa said that he had longed for a final version with the original cast. I was really happy that he was able to depict Ed and Al's journey all the way through to the end. The original story is condensed, so the events are all over the place. I really hope that fans of the original work will watch the film, because everything in it is a highlight. He also mentioned the "Last Renraku" in which the fierce final battle with the "father" is depicted.

The third best scene chosen by Mr. Hiroshi Arakawa is the scene where Ed and Al meet and communicate with Lin Yao (Keisuke Watanabe), the twelfth prince of the Shin Dynasty, who is after the Philosopher's Stone for its immortality power. In second place is the scene where Ed forces Winry to let go of his gun in a confrontation with Scar (Arata Mensuke), a scarred man who has sworn revenge against the state alchemist.
And No. 1 was the scene where Fu (Toshio Kakei), Lin's bodyguard, calls out to his wounded grandson Lanfang (Yuna Kuroshima), "Don't you have an arm?", a scene that is famous among fans of the original work. We hope to see how this scene will be depicted in the live-action version at the theater.
Park Norimi talks with Ryosuke Yamada about "W-Ed!
Park Norimi, who plays the main character Ed in the anime version, also made a comment. In the special program #3, Park and Yamada Ryosuke, who stars in the live-action version, visited the "20th Anniversary Fullmetal Alchemist Returns" exhibition at Hirakata Park in Osaka Prefecture, and had a "W-Ed" conversation.
The two, who were still excited about the exhibition, said, "I feel like I'm alive," and "I feel like I'm inside Mr. Arakawa's body," and once again felt the overwhelming power of "Fullmetal Alchemist. Mr. Yamada also recalled the time when Mr. Park actually visited the filming site of the final version of the film, and revealed that he watched Mr. Park's play over and over again for the filming.
These are the kinds of stories that only the two actors who played Ed could tell. The film is sure to be a must-see for fans of the original work, anime fans, and anyone else who is familiar with the work "Fullmetal Alchemist".
